I made something similar a long time ago but it was just using a loaf tin - lined it with pork mince and herb mixture, placed boiled eggs down the middle and then covered with more of the mince and herb mix before baking.  Very tasty it was too.  Really must do something like that again.  Not sure I fancy the pease pudding "pastry" though!

@bubbs I've no idea why I'd gained 4lb.  It was star week, I did eat a Greggs baguette whilst out on Thursday. But it's not worth worrying about now I guess!

Been painting in the back garden again today, so am rather tired to be honest.

    Speak soon. x

Denise, i like that but line the tin with bacon and cross it over the top , that's tasty

I have gone of the scale today and Im just that tired I dont care

I get a few shifts in the tea rooms at a local attraction , bank holiday weekends mostly, and today I was scheduled to work. The tea rooms are pretty basic, order at the counter, tea/ coffee and tray bakes and thats it - easy :)

The guys who do the BBQ didnt make it in today and they know I used to be a cook in another life = 80 hotdogs and 160 burgers later, I crawled in :)

Now I remember why I gave up cooking

Not in till 5;30 and shattered but I cooked pork loin , cabbage, peas, cauliflower and mash ( I was too tired to think about roasties ) and I just thought I really dont want that

So I had a cheese sandwich on white bread with a slice of butter and I loved every bloomin mouthful

Although the wind has started already :)

Hoping the wind dies down ( its icy here still ) so I can sit in the hot tub and ease the aches

Id rather do a marathon I think :)
