Morning all.@bubbs glad to hear your Dad is ok.I went to WI on Thursday and I had gained 4lb. I did forget to take my tracksuit top off before weighing, but can’t see that would make that much of a difference.I have decided now to not go back to group and go it alone. I do feel I am just wasting my £5.95 every week. Then there’s the raffle and other things and it just escalates to nearly £10
i am going to have my weigh day as first thing on a Friday morning. I have a good phone app that I’ve already been using as well as logging it on the SW app, when attending group.Weather has been lovely and we’ve been doing the back garden. Took my Mom to a garden centre on Friday. It is really expensive there though!Speak soon. xxStriving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670 -
bubbs said:Longwalker well done 👏👏 I never did any exercise getting to target and still don't 🤣 only normal every day things
oh i gained a new husband in there today 😂 the bloke next door to dad was convinced i was his wife 🤣 i said oh my husband will be glad he's got rid of me 🤣 he said did you have to register? i said register for what? he said coming in here, i said not today they let me in ok 😂 bless them 🥰. Following day I bumped into my neighbour and she said she was going on a short walk, so I asked if I could go with her, and that was it. She was walking because of cancer fatigue and I walked along with her for the craic. So then we heard of another charity thing, and then another, and slowly we built up distance and speed. We stopped during lockdown, her husband was having cancer treatment so needed shielding , mum needed shielding , but we slowly got back into it and we done a half marathon and climbed the highest mountain in NI last year. Not bad for a short fat one and a tall fat one fighting cancer fatigue - esp at our ages
She lost her husband earlier this year - hes the one who hanged himself - so we are walking a lot more and whilst we are too late for the July Marathon, theres one in September we are looking at - tentatively - we have never walked that distance so huge challengeIve been thinking of couch to 5k for a couple of years and I think now is the time to put it into place. Cos the weight is going Im feeling more confident about giving it a try. The Park Run is the gateway to it. Yes I walked it yesterday - 4 mins quicker then the same time last year - but I want to try and jog a bit of it next time. The skipping is another charity challenge which will help build the stamina I need for the runningIts true what they say about exercise, it gives you a complete high and its free
Even my SW group have started a twice weekly walking group which is fantastic. Cos we are very rural its not so easy to find people who will want to join you that live close enough so you can just pop out when it suits. Having a meeting time and place and just going along knowing you will know other people is a great motivator and it seems ( I never knew about it) all that went on the first one loved itSorry Ive gone on a bit there but I really am a fan of walking, love it. Gives me time for me, I can think, me and Carol natter about everything and laugh and laugh and sometimes cry. We put the world to rights in 3 miles.0 -

Afternoon all, I'm home! We came back early as the place we were at was just too busy and too noisy - not how we like to spend time when we're away! DH also wants to go and pick up a golf buggy he bought from Ebay tomorrow so it'll be a trip out in the car!
I've already got 2 loads of washing on the line and another load in the machine. That will then be all the clothes washed including those from the few days before we went away. Just the two lots of bedding to day but that can wait until tomorrow or Tuesday!
Having my hair cut on Tuesday morning, also need to go into the next town to collect my new glasses - had an email yesterday to say they were ready. Will need to pick up a couple of bits of shopping to take with us. Wednesday will see us getting the motorhome packed ready for the off on Thursday lunchtime. It will then be off to France on Friday morning. We're doing a pub stop near the port Thursday evening and will eat in the pub.
The weekend has been mainly on plan food wise apart from the fish and chips on Friday which incidentally weren't very nice and the fish was really small - it looked they'd cut each fillet in half and then to cap it all they hadn't taken the skin off and it was overcooked so very dry - not impressed at all. We ended up leaving the site before the carvery as didn't want to wait until 2.30ish for lunch! That was far too late and not even guaranteed it would happen then. We gave our tickets for the meal to a nice couple we met and spent most of the weekend with.
Anyway food planned for today:
B - fry up - P; S; F; 2
L - crab stick sandwich - HEB; F; 4.5
D - Spanish rice - P; S; F; 3.5
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - LF sausages 2; butter 3.5; tartare sauce 1; chorizo 3.5
Hope everyone is having a good day.
PS. Just logged into the website and it says that I'll be losing access to the website and app in a week's time. Looks like I'll be needing syn values from you when I get back from holiday for anything I don't know the syns of although it will only be for things I don't use regularly!

@joedenise is it after 8 weeks do you know, that you lose access to the SW website and app?Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670

Yes but not sure if that's just for target members. Not sure how long you'd have access if you just stop going.
