Well done @beanielou - knew you wouldn't have a problem!

Sorry to hear about your DH's cloudy cataract @bubbs; at least he knows what the problem is now.  Hope he doesn't have to wait to long for the laser treatment.  Rather you than me with the Lidl's mustard (or Colmans come to that!) both would be too hot for me.  I'm a wuss when it comes to mustard!  I like a nice Dijon or wholegrain mustard.

Well done @beanielou! Obviously only a wee gain. 😉

I like the Lidl mustard too @bubbs and you're right it is hot. 😋

🤞your DH doesn't have to wait too long for treatment. He's not getting much luck lately, seems like one thing after another.☹️

  • Hi all,

A lot seems to have gone on since my last drop in. We'll done to all the losers and maintainers.

My Son had a Cornish hamper for his Birthday which he thought was great.

Had a busy week last week and off plan a lot, lots if socialising and a several drinks which makes a big difference when you don't drink often. Needless to say the scales went up again.

So, yet another line drawn. I've got a food diary and trying to track both syns and calories. We're out tomorrow for fish and chips on the sea front prior to two babies heading off to uni next week. Then work lunch Wednesday. I've decided I'll have a cone of chips or a children's meal tomorrow. And going for either Souvlaki Chicken or Mexican poke bowl for lunch Wednesday.

Summer cricket is almost over, but we are going to continue indoors over the winter. We've also set up a fitness group and started tonight with a 3 mile run, think I got a personal best. In total i covered 5 miles in an hour so very happy with that.

    Morning all,

Got back from my hike (in the heatwave!) on Saturday and it was my birthday Sunday so food only really got back to normal yesterday when I was in the office (deep joy). I'm WFH today. There is still birthday cake to eat up and only DH, DD and myself here now DS2 has returned to uni. It's a nice cake and I don't like waste, so will be having a little piece until it's gone  :) DH has meal planned and shopped for the week - I have no idea what is in the fridge as haven't cooked since I got back. It's a mystery. Hope everyone is doing okay x

    Food today:
    B - poached egg, spinach, 1 x WM toast, banana - P, 1/2 HEB, free
    L - freezer surprise - think it's pasta - free
D - SW Szechuan pork with noodles - free
    HEA - milk
1/2 HEB - hi fi bar
    Syns - birthday cake  :)
