    Morning all.

@bubbs - my parents have sent us a few cream tea hampers from the cornish company and they were really good (light and fluffy scones and lots of cream 😋)  Betty's is also good for foodie gifts too.  I'm sure your friend will love it.

Glad to hear the op went well @joedenise and have fun with the dogs today.

Pancakes sound lovely @beanielou and well done on your loss.

Star week is really draining me this month and the heat isn't helping.  Was going to go for a run this morning before work but just couldn't face it and had the extra sleep instead.  Will try and go for a walk when it's a little cooler after work.  Had boiled eggs and a couple of plums for breakfast, lunch is a chicken salad and dinner is a sausage tray bake as something simple that I don't have to think too much about 😆

Hope everyone has a good day, need to go prepare for a couple of meetings now.

Official weigh in day has come around again, the weeks fly by!

It's not been the easiest since last weigh in three weeks ago, in fact I went completely off plan for almost a whole week and it has been a constant struggle to keep to it for the other weeks. I think it has been because I feel so urgh, so drained and fatigued that the effort required to keep at it decided to go on holiday.

My tummy issues are still with me but I finally have a scan date for later this month, can't bloody wait as it is really dragging me down and the pain is horrendous. Strangely it feels better when I am not on plan, when I eat things that I really shouldn't be having and worse, a lot worse when I am keeping strictly to plan.

The home scales show a loss though, so I must have done enough to still progress but boy has it been hard as the temptation to eat something naughty and have the pain reduce for a little while is massive.

I did have a NSV last week, I saw a physio I hadn't seen for a while as he had referred me onto someone more specialised, he first saw me when I had not long started at SW and had lost 10lbs and the last time he saw me, I think I was at about a 2 stone ish loss. He complimented me and middle son on our losses and said it was really noticeable how much we had lost.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Well done on the NSV @SingleSue and hope your tummy issues get sorted.

Thanks for pitta syns yesterday @maman think I'm well over but back on it :)

I'm pinching your cream tea idea @bubbs this would be ideal for my best friend who lives in England and it's a 'big birthday' at the end of the year. Also work well for parents and an elderly aunt as a wee treat at Christmas!

WFH today and could see if all far enough!  My work friend and I are meeting for lunch (soon...eek!) and are determined not to turn it into a mini (or major) whinging session!

    Today's food:
    B - toast (HEB), jam 2 syns
L - baked potato and will have to see what's on offer today
D - gammon joint, new potatoes, loads of roasted veg

Hope you are all having a good day!

Well it was a 2lb loss for both of us, I'll take that bearing in mind I lost the plot and the plan for almost a week.

Middle son picked up his 6 stone award today.

Sorry to hear of the problems you've been having @SingleSue but well done on the 2lb loss even with not being completely on plan for the 3 weeks since your last WI.  Good that you've now got a date for your scan.  Let's hope it shows what the problem is and why it's happening and what can be done about it.

Well done to your middle son on his 6 stone award, that's amazing.

Well done @SingleSue and many congratulations to your son as well. .👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

It's not easy trying to lose weight regardless of which method you use and being fatigued and in pain must really make it even harder. I was reading something this morning about obesity. The journalist was honest and admitted that it's so easy to succumb to junk food when there's a whole industry out there encouraging us to keep snacking, buying take aways, grazing in the street, buying special offers in supermarkets etc etc. Then it discussed this weightloss drug, which seems fraught with problems. I'm sure will power and perseverance is the best way rather than a quick fix.

It's baking hot here too, certainly too hot for exercise. I'd be surprised if it's much cooler when you finish work either @ruby_eskimo. It was really hot and sticky at my dance class last night, even with all the doors and windows open.

We're out to eat tonight. I probably shouldn't have had prawns for lunch as I often have a prawn cocktail starter at this particular pub. It could prove a very fishy day!🤣 No worries, I'll make wise choices but I will have a few drinks. After that I've got a clear week where I can stay on plan. 👍🏼

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, 2 eggs (P), beans (F)
    L- JP (F), prawns (P), salad (S)
    D- tbc
    Syns- mayo 2

I certainly wouldn't be worrying about a fishy day @maman - I've been know to have fishy weeks where I have fish 4 or 5 days in a week!  Fish is so good for you so enjoy it.

Eye's doing brilliantly @bubbs, thanks.  I just need to enlarge the typeface on the laptop to read now as my reading glasses are completely useless now as the prescription has changed so much!  I haven't got an appointment until 24 October as my preferred optician is on holiday until that week!  Lucky man.
