Change of plan for lunch!  The baguette was a bit overcooked so too hard to use as pizza base so DH had it for this lunch just stuffed with salad stuff.  I had a salad with some carrot sticks, cucumber sticks and sugar snaps along with a Tbs of hummus so a good reduction in syns down to 1!  May well have some chocolate later instead!

Well done on the 1.5lb @bubbs - can you imagine if you'd weighed as usual tomorrow!!

I made the soup.....it is a bit bitter due to the shredded greens I suspect. It's also a strange brown sludge colour. I persevered though and have 3 more portions in the freezer for another time.

Full refund on it's way from train company. Compared to the new hotel and bus arrangements we are £2 up but 4 hours down in time. You win some, you lose some  :)

Well done at getting the new low figure @bubbs.

For weeks I have promised myself fish & chips when I got to target. Today was the day, a bit of a guestimate on Syns as OH and I shared a large battered cod, so crispy and gorgeous, chip (small) portion was huge, but not a fan of chips so didn't eat very many. It is something I only ever ate 3 or 4 times a year as too greasy for me, but the new to us chippie is so different.  Back on it tomorrow.

Delighted for you @bubbs. 👏👏👏Well done on your loss. And in only 6 days. 👍

Good luck with your walk @Coxy11. Shame about the hassle with the travel arrangements but you've got it sorted. Hope the sun shines on you and DSis, both literally and metaphorically. 🤗

That was a victory on the syns front @joedenise albeit by accident. 👍

I'm not a fan of corn on the cob either @bubbs. I think it's a bit like eating snails, the taste is only in the butter. I do buy baby corn as I like the crunch in stir fry and it's Speed but there isn't much taste on their own.

I've done my meal plan and shop today so hoping for a good week. Jeans felt a bit snug and 'thunder thighs' IYSWIM today so need to get seriously on plan.

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA 1 milk for drinks, bacon, egg (P), baked beans (F)
    L- ham (P), veg hash and pickles (F, S)
D- chicken and bacon 'pie filling' (P, S), SW chips (F), carrot chips (S)
    Syns - weekend wine 😁
