Well done on the losses @joedenise and @MrsRyan, nice stick @beanielou, nice to have a choice when it is something you have to use regularly.
I am sure you must feel much relieved to have made the decision about VR @Coxy11
@maman I choose liver & bacon if on the menu as I hate cooking it, I prefer it flash fried, but often settle for a casserole at home (I have very thin skin on my hands and hate the spluttering from the pan.
Yogurt and lots of speed fruit consumed for breakfast, a picky box of bits of salad, ham, cold sausage (Heck chicken) made up for lunch at craft group, but sadly supper is unknown yet may be mushroom risotto from new magazine, but I will probably add a wee amount of Syns with a little butter for better mouth feel - I really miss eating good butterThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. Change of plan for dinner tonight. Going to make a minced beef goulash instead of cottage pie - just fancied something different to the usual beef dishes. Found this one online and decided to SWify it - ie don't use the olive oil to cook the onions! Suspect that DH will say it's too tomatoey as it uses tinned chopped tomatoes, passata, tomato puree and fresh tomatoes! Hope we like it though as it makes 6 portions! If we don't like it I'll just have to add extra mince and onions to it and turn it into chilli or something!

No problem using your syns on butter @maddiemay. I think it's important to use them on what we enjoy most. 😋
What are the plans for this year's birthday @beanielou?🤔 Gleneagles will be a hard act to follow. I expect a wee Kir Royale or raspberry gin might be involved. 😉
That really is a lot of tomatoes @joedenise. I thought I was being heavy handed adding puree to passata for my pasta sauce. 😁
Today's weather just can't make it's mind up. I went out with my walking group this morning, took my waterproof jacket but didn't need it. Now it's sunny and tipping down at the same time. I did get 10 0000 + steps in though and my best SW day for about a fortnight. 😇
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, egg (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S), HEA 1 milk for drinks
L- ham (P), 1 potato (F), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- meatballs in tomato sauce (P, F, S), spaghetti (F), HEA 2 Parmesan
Syns - 00 -
I made a mistake in that it doesn't have fresh tomatoes as well. When I read the recipe it said add diced tomatoes but there aren't any in the ingredients list! The only thing it could be is the tinned chopped tomatoes! There was still quite a lot of tomatoes but it was very tasty, tasty enough for DH to go back for a 2nd bowl! Don't think there's enough for 6 portions more like 4 but I'll see when it comes to portioning up the leftovers once it's cooled down. Think I may add some cooked veg when I reheat it though as apart from tomatoes there was only onions and garlic in it. Think it could take some extra onion plus some mushrooms and peppers!
We've had quite a bit of rain but none of it has lasted very long - certainly some very large spots when it's come down! Fortunately we didn't get wet when we had to go out.
