Morning all,
I'm off work today as I'm taking DDad to Kensington Palace. There's a couture exhibition plus the Palace and gardens to see. Unfortunately it's a rainy day. I have a dress on but think I'm going to have to change to something more practical so I don't freeeeeeze.
Food will be breakfast here of cereal, fruit and yoghurt. Lunch will be whatever we find - might go to Stick and Bowl on Kensington High Street. Dinner is SW easy chicken curry.

Morning all.
Sorry to hear about your dad @Jellybaby but good to hear his speech and memory have come back so quickly. Fingers crossed his recovery continues at the same pace.
Hope your dad is ok @bubbs. Great food pics as usual.
Enjoy your day out @Coxy11. Never been to Kensington Palace but should make a trip there one day. Took almost 40 years to see the Tower of London and used to pass it every single time I went into London so we'll see how long it takes to work my way round the other palaces!
Did a bit of yoga last night and went for a walk which seemed to help. Even managed to get up and go for a jog this morning and managed another new PB for 5K 🤷♀️😏🤣 5 weeks till holiday and think I might be back in the zone, hopefully!
Breakfast today was a couple of boiled eggs and a couple of satsumas. Lunch is some carrot and coriander soup I found in the freezer with a slice of bread and dinner is Homity Pie with Linda M sausages and some home grown french and dwarf beans.
Busy weekend seeing some friends tomorrow for a scavenger hunt thing and then we're off to the cricket on Sunday (hoping the rain holds off!)

Morning all, it's a bit of a showery day today so glad I didn't do any washing. That can wait another day or two when hopefully we'll have another dry day!
So sorry to hear about your dad @Jellybaby and good that he seems to be recovering quickly which hopefully will continue.
Enjoy your day out with your dad @Coxy11. Must admit to never having visited any of the Royal Palaces but have seen them from the outside. Not quite the same but at least I've seen them. Unlikely to visit any now as it's so expensive to get into London now, even with a railcard.
Was out early this morning to do some shopping as my friend needed a lift to the station in the next town as our local station hasn't got any trains until at least Monday due to engineering works - not helpful when you need to catch a connecting train as the buses take well over an hour to get there whereas the train takes about 10-15 minutes!
Today's plan:
B - sausage sandwich - HEB; 5.5
L - corned beef salad - S; 2.5
D - baked sea bream; chips; peas - P; F
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - butter 3.5; sausages 2; corned beef 2.5 (this is for 100g but not sure there's that much each left as DH had some yesterday!). Hadn't planned this but he decided to open the tin yesterday so needs using up!
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Afternoon all.
What an awful 24 hrs, Dad was really bad yesterday refusing all food, fluids and medication, shouting and really restless 😥
They told us if it continued today we would be looking at end of life 😪😪
He had an awful night, shouting and restless, still wouldn't have a drink or anything. Woke up after about an hrs sleep a different person 👏👏
He had a little bit of breakfast but has had medication and 4 drinks 👏 we left about 1 and Mum and another sister there now.
Not shouted all morning
