Oh I do hope you're right @bubbs. Some water retention from flying would be easy to shift! 🤣

I've got almost 2 weeks (plus grace week) to get back to target @joedenise but if it takes longer and I have to pay then I'll have to live with it.

Enjoyed our dinner. It's the first meal I've cooked since June 13th! DH made breakfast every day in our apartment. All I did was make an occasional sandwich if we were around at lunch time although mostly we ate out.

It's been hot today, 28.5 when I went shopping. At least we've not come down to earth with a bump as it was 30+ in Turkey. ❤️🌞😎

We're off to the theatre tomorrow too @bubbs but it's a matinee so home for dinner. I'm definitely not going to have an ice cream in the break! 🤣

Well done @bubbs, love the thought of an all you can eat buffet.
Tomorrow is DH's Aunt's 90th birthday, we are joining her and some of her family for an indoor picnic (she wanted an outdoor picnic  in the park, but forecast is iffy), no doubt  there will be nice food and birthday cake.
Go on hols to Lancashire on Sunday, I have booked a SW holiday - there is a group in the nearest town, but may be too much hassle to go along.

I have only 1.5 Lbs. until goal weight, so don't really want to put too much on while I am away.
@Maman so pleased you had a good holiday.

Morning all, looking to be another good day but thunderstorms possible later.  Didn't get out in the garden after dinner last night as the wind got up a bit so was very blowy!  Doesn't look too bad this morning so maybe a coffee out there after breakfast!

Enjoy the indoor picnic @maddiemay; enjoy.  You can always cut back on syns the rest of the week to make up for the cake syns, it's what lots of us do.  Enjoy your holiday.  Don't blame you booking a holiday from SW - even though there's a group in the nearest town you don't want to have to plan to go into your time away when you should be enjoying yourself!  Good luck with not putting on too much.  Are you self catering?  If you are it's much easier to stick to plan on holiday so you don't put on too much.

I'm like you @bubbs and only ever paid once or twice since I reached target, although I do usually take a couple of weeks off after my holidays in the hope of shifting what I've put on, LOL!

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - bacon, egg, mushrooms, beans - P; S; F
    L - burger, onions, gherkins in WM roll - HEB; S; 0.5
    D - keema curry, rice, HM flatbread (if I get round to making them!) - P; S; F; 4.5

    HEA - milk
    HEB - roll
    Syns - burger 0.5; flour 4.5

Welcome back @maman , holidays mean relaxing and letting your hair down

Well done @bubbs . Enjoy your theatre trip and buffet. I love an all you can eat buffet and Im usually very good., I go for prawns, prawns , prawns and more prawns, And if they have those cooking stations I go for those. I dont touch rice or pasta or anything, just go for the meat and fish and salad

I was so naughty yesterday. I wasnt hungry when I woke and I was pretty busy. Didnt feel hungry till it was time to head to the shops and I went sod it, not got time now - end result I didnt eat till 7:30. Still I stayed on plan - 2 poached eggs, a slice of wholemeal and a scant handful of air fried chips

I got a loaf of Nevilles when out yesterday cos lunchtime today Im doing a fry for them and I can have a bacon sandwich

I found a packet of chicken meatballs in the freezer so tea is sorted

And the roast dinner is bought so everything going to plan so far

My taste of nom book arrived , had a wee look through and very very impressed with the recipes. I shall go through it again properly over the weekend and see what Ive got in the house and give a few a go over the week ahead

Park run this morning. Not going to be breaking any records today, the wind is so strong out there that my stove flu is rattling

Have a good weekend everyone x

    Morning all,

Welcome back @maman - glad you had a nice time away x
    Well done @bubbs - great news x
Enjoy the birthday celebrations @maddiemay x

I'm off to group shortly. Don't think I've shifted enough to be back in target range but hoping I'm close. The Chinese black bean and pepper dish was lush @joedenise. I will post the recipe later. I used the SC but you can also do it for 1.5 hours in the oven - no way was I using the oven yesterday, far too hot.

Fingers crossed that you are not blown away during the Parkrun @Longwalker, may the scales showing lighter than you think @Coxy11.
Enjoy the theatre @maman. Cooked brunch here in a few minutes too @joedenise, yes we are self-catering, but have limited cooking facilities, our caravan is a good size with seating/beds at front, single beds and a large bathroom, but at the expense of a decent galley area so the hob is covered to use as a worktop and the oven cannot be used without the hob cover being lifted.  I do enough cooking at home and budget for light meals or picnics when out and something snacky with lots of salad when indoors, works pretty well most of the time.

I hope all can stay dry and snug, no rain here yet.

How long are you going for @maddiemay?  Can you take enough frozen HM ready meals for the time you're away.  If we're away in this country in the motorhome for just a few days I can usually take enough for our evening meals and breakfasts and then eat out at lunchtimes.  France is a different matter though with the French baguettes, pain aux raisins, cheeses, pates etc etc!

Do you have a table at the front of your caravan that you could use so that you still have the use of the hob rather than having to have it covered?  Must admit when we got our motorhome I insisted on a decent kitchen area although we still have a decent lounge area at the front with  L-shaped sofas plus a seat on the opposite side.  Did have a huge table but DH took that out and replaced it with a smaller table which is perfect for just the 2 of us and gives a lot more space for moving around.

@joedenise yes I take a few things, table at front too low for anything hot when we have the dog, we too take big table out, don't need it to make double bed, it's all a compromise to get the single bed option within the weight limit for towing.  Our motorhome was 5 berth with good kitchen and storage, but had to move it on when my arthritis got worse as couldn't walk very far,  at that time motorhome parking was quite tricky in most places, so different nowadays, but would not like to take it down the weeny lanes and single track roads to the wee villages and coves we like to see. This is our third caravan, and due to our ages it will be the last, that is when the equivalent of 7 weeks away each year will not be financially possible.

TBH we will find lots of lovely things to eat, just they will be really simple:- grilled fish/meat/chicken, some frozen mw veggies and lots of salads which we love anyway. It is the stir fries, stews, bol etc.  It's all budgeted for as we lead a simple life these days, spend very little on meals out, theatre, cinema, booze etc. when at home.
