I shall definately be tipping any extras left over down the sink, I know me and temptation, we don't work too well together :rotfl:

YM, you're excited about this challenge? I'm doing it to hopefully feel a bit healthier which in turn may give me the motivation to hit the gym after work instead of the offy!! Plus I've just put my beer spending into the MSE demotivator and here's the result

I'm in for this. My dh is going to support me by giving up as well. We still have 3 cases of wine that were bought for us for Christmas so I'll not be saving much money as I wouldn't have been buying alcohol. Still I will be doing my body a favour.

  • Hi

Dont think I will have many leftovers tonight. On can Number 12 already and i think the aim is to make myself sick of it so that i will not want any more. Good luck everyone and will see you in the morning.

Morning and a happy 2008 to you all.
I tend to drink 2 or 3 halves of Stella a night - I've had a couple of weeks alcohol free occasionally, usually when I've stopped smoking. Always found I sleep better without a drink.
Fancy a go at this, mainly because smoking and drinking go hand in hand for me.

Managed to drink most of my beer stock last night, so now I can feel the reasons I should give up bouncing around inside my head with a jackhammer.

my last hangover for a while I hope.

    Good luck everyone.

    Morning all.

Well I only managed a couple more so 14 cans in total last night. The thing is i dont have a hangover which makes me worry more as my body must be used to it.

Good luck to everyone on day 1

    Morning all :D

I only bought 6 so that I wouldn't be left over with too much, turns out I wasn't left with anything :undecided

I feel quite geared up to this challenge and have managed to get a few friends doing it too so I CAN NOT FAIL!!

  • Hello fellow non-drinkers!

I'm so glad it's finally come around. I've really over done it this week and my body is crying out for a rest! As is my bank account - eeek!!

I'm feeling really positive about it now and have roped all my friends in too - even my boyfriend says he'll cut down.

It's my brother's birthday in Jan, but I'm determined not to drink at his birthday meal - even though it'll be on Dad!

    Good luck all. !!
