Daughters used to do this.
Got fed up of seeing the clean washing in amongst the dirty pile, chucked out onto the landing. So I "sniffed" and folded rather than washed the tried on and discarded. Underwear got washed, but not all the jumpers/skirts/jeans.
Didn't stop them doing it the following week, but at least the washing and drying got less. Sometimes even put the discarded (but clean) jeans onto the radiators as if washed.
No idea if they noticed. They didn't actually complain.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Thanks RedRuby
The centre run by the Salvation Army on Chequer Road, was very delighted to be offered the snooker table, and will also take a box of single bedding (no single bed now) a coffee maker, two stereos. They provide flats for young people most of which who are homeless and have nothing so anything to make them comfortable is welcome, and anything else they pass on to other organisations.
:T :T :T , so glad someone will make use of them, shame to throw them away xx
Kathy, SIT DOWN and have a rest for an hour or so, it might just help you to get rid of this lurgy before XMAS, xx
Mrs Mix, sorry to hear about the sofa, at least you will get some money back xx
Bon voyage to those going away for xmas, have a good one xx

Afternoon peeps!Had nails done at 8.30 they look fab now but I wondewr for how long!!Then went to tescos where it was manic and I mean manic, people shoving trollys everywhere, I just grabbed what I needed and got out.Just been to a local store (trading post) redruby knows the one and it was really quite in there with lots so I got a few more things in there - I need to get a salad bowl (redruby just reminded me when you said about a trifle bowl) I have no idea where I will get one any ideas? My kitchen looks like a family of chips have attacked the cupboards, I pulled all the tins out to wipe the cupboards but got fed up doing it so I just left it and went out!! I must get back to it in a while.Hope everyone is having a good day?0

Oh, Pam - that's awful - after all the waiting. That happened to my DS1 and DIL - they had ordered a new bed and mattress and threw the old one out the day the new one was supposed to be delivered. The company had got the mattress wet so they had to supply another bed in the meanwhile, but it still took about six weeks to get the one they ordered. I hear about this sort of thing all the time - why can't these stores and the delivery crews get anything right these days? I hope you don't have to wait too long.
REDRUBY - I did have a lie down on the sofa under my Father Christmas rug! I didn't doze off, though, but I do feel slightly more motivated to get the wrapping up done - that, and the fact that I am running out of time so it must be done today! I missed going to the gym but I definitely don't have the energy today.
I am not going to any of the big supermarkets - I don't actually like Tesco or Sainsbury's; I think they are all far too big and noisy and our local Sainsbury's has been revamped but very badly. Nothing is stacked in a consistent way, they have huge pillars in the way in all the aisles and then they plonk huge stacking trolleys next to them, there is always a queue - doesn't matter what time of day or year, the queues are endless and half the tills have room for just one basket - no conveyor belt, and less room at the packing end. Whoever designed it needs stringing up. Suffice to say they have lost my trade and that of my DS1's MIL. We both agreed that our tempers are up the minute we step through the door! I love my local Co-op. They have enough of everything, the staff are great, the tills are a decent size and you rarely end up queuing for hours. Anyway, that's me finished.
See ya.

DH came home early and between the three of us six litres of soup has been scoffed.
The rolls turned out very well and DH loved the soup.
Large piece of gammon is cooling ready to go in the fridge.
