You know the rules Brie no hanging of head in shame allowed on here 🤨 I was once recommended eating kiwi including the skin to get things moving, but as I don't like the texture of the skin I use fybogel when things don't move 😐

Hello
Weigh-day -3.5lbs please Brambling.
It wasn’t as bad as I’d anticipated and I was over the cravings in a couple of days. Nice to be back on an even keel without the spikes. Managed a hilly hike and a short swim in addition to the stretching exercises. This week will be similar to last menu and exercise wise minus the swim as it was too cold. I have a social event with a plan for 2 glasses of bubbles then onto fizzy water. There will be plenty of low carb food options available so should be able to stick to the higher end of my daily allowances. Just need to remember to take my will power.Old Style Weight Loss Challenge 2025

So instead I'll add extra beans to tonight's chilli. That might set things off. Breakfast - omelette with a bit of chorizo
Lunch - hummus and carrot sticks
Tea - will be crab with salad
I don't normally eat 3 meals but I didn't know how late lunch would be (day of temporary work) so thought I should have something.3 -
First weigh in of the challenge and I'm reporting a 2lb loss! I'm quite surprised as although I was hoping I'd lost a bit, I didn't think it was that much. I've been reducing my portion sizes but keeping my veg/salad amounts the same (I already eat a lot of veg) and I've set reminders on my phone to tell me to drink water.Today I've got an MRI on my dodgy shoulder, the joys of hypermobility! I'm not looking forward to it as the last time a doctor tried to do an MRI on my shoulder it dislocated when they put in the contrast dye. This is at a different hospital but I've stated I'm not having the dye injection.Grocery budget in 2023 £2279.18/£2700Grocery budget in 2022 £2304.76/£2400Grocery budget in 2021 £2107.86/£2200Grocery budget in 2020 £2193.02/£2160Saving for Christmas 2023 #15 £ 90/ £3654

I will declare today for the week. Considering I had lost 5 or 6 pounds over the 2 previous weeks when I had covid I didnt expect to lose much but am another 2lb down. 🎉🎉🎉. I have given myself a target of 5000 steps a day this week. Have done that on all but one day and on 2 days I hit 7000. Am going to up daily step count to 6000 a day for next week. I have started a few simple exercises to trim down tummy (hopefully) too. I have eaten cereal for breakfast, varying salads for lunch (I love a salad) and normal evening meal but smaller portion. I have also bought a couple of new dresses for the summer (havnt had new ones since before lockdown so felt I deserved some) They have boosted my confidence too as they are very flattering.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

Very late checking in for my first weight in, but have managed to lose 3 lbs as of today!
I've been trying to get my steps over a min 6,000 a day and am drinking water between meals. I'm surprised I've lost that much so far, but it has me thinking maybe I'm snacking when I'm actually just thirsty.
Going to take a tip from @Toonie and set some phone reminders to drink water.5
