Some lovely numbers guys
SuffolkSue at least you have seen someone now and are working to help with the pain.
Have a good week everyone, I need to avoid the rock cakes i decided would be a good idea to make lunchtime, not sure why i decided to make them i haven't had them in years, my great aunt always made them for visitors, i think i will need to freeze and try and forget they're thereLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin7 -
I know what you mean Brambling with the rock cakes. I'm trying to use up all the things in my 'baking cupboard', all the bits and bobs in opened packets so I've been making biscuits and muffins for DH to eat at lunchtime. it's so hard not to try one so I've done something along the lines of what you are thinking about.
I make the biscuit dough and freeze them uncooked in small balls, I also freeze uncooked cake batter in small portions for the muffins. When DH comes in for lunch I get out the required number of biscuits or muffins and cook them from frozen. They only take a few minutes to cook in a small oven I have in the pantry and they are ready by the time he has finished his soup. Win Win - he has something sweet and I don't cook more than is needed or eat the uncooked dough or batter.
I know I don't post much but today I'm over the moon. I've just got into the next stone downwards - only just though, by half a pound - I can't remember the last time I was here, probably 2019. Hopefully it will spur me on.5 -
1LB For me please Brambling. I had thought I had 'hit' the diet wall and STS for longer.
Well done everyone. @zafiro1984 I know what you mean about a small loss.
Last weigh-in for me, holiday for 3 weeks. We don't eat out much, BBQ and salad on the balcony and I will attempt to limit the ice cream, supermarket has moved so it will be a very good walk their and back, husband is under orders not to offer me toast and juice in the morning.

Brambling - I'm pleased to report a 1lb loss for this month, so 50% of the quarter's target achieved in less than 33% of it.
Last weekend I did have one day of eating very little (1081 cals) and doing a lot of walking and only 1263 the oher day. That probably helped. The average daily amount for the week was 1502 cals.5 -
I've had a bit of a setback. I managed to dislocate my "good" shoulder yesterday (left one). I'm currently sat at the dining table as I can't even have a sling on as my right shoulder (the dodgier one) is too weak to hold the weight so I'm resting the left one on the table. The joys of being hypermobile! Now I just need to resist the temptation to snack on things as I hardly slept last night from the pain and fear of re-dislocating it. Helpfully my partner made me a big bowl of salad before he left for work so I can have that at lunchtime with some leftover chicken.

Hi
Weighday -1/2lb this week and -3.5lbs for last week please Brambling. Not a good week. One turned into four going outs involving food and drinks so it’s been medium to high carb so was a nice suprise to see a loss today. This week I’ve not thought about yet. May have to eat out again a few times which makes it harder to be low carb.Old Style Weight Loss Challenge 2025
