Of course. You just email the defence now! It will take you minutes to just adapt the one by @Johny86
Forget the AOS now. Easy defence.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks so mych. Is there an option for me to just pay the fine so this goes away? Thanks very much.0

Thanks, I am just mostly keen to avoid the County Court Judgment — because doing so will ruin me. So I was just wondering, if it would mean I was less likely to receive one by paying, if that is still an option.0

Even though you can literally copy a defence I've already linked (changing just one paragraph, taking maybe twenty minutes tonight while watching TV, it's that easy) and send one email and all will be fine?
You don't have a CCJ.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Now stop prevaricating and start adapting your paragraph 3 of @Johny86 defence.
Then get it emailed. You could have it done and dusted by 7pm....2 -

And you won't get a CCJ unless...
1) you lose the claim or a default Judgment is issued, and...
2) you fail to pay what the court orders in the timescale it allows - usually two weeks or more.
Just get on with defending yourself as suggested in my earlier post.
You have at least thirteen hours before anything bad happens.3 -

In there you will find...The opening post there offers detailed guidance on how to file a Defence.
