What I'd like to know - as it says a '12 month subscription' - does it last as long as you have the account or finish if you were to switch.

For example the Odeon tickets - you'd get in one go and could still switch right away. Does anyone know if the same will happen for the Disney+ deal?
Or, why not just keep the account if you want the benefits? Banks will stop offering these incentives if people just abuse them...

You get the tickets up front, but unless you use them all before switching you will also lose them.

You lose the Disney if you close the account.

(or is there some way I can 'reset' the Club Lloyds benefit on that account?)
That's a definite no, I asked about that earlier this year.
Does the 'downgrade to Classic, wait a short while, upgrade back to Club Lloyds' method definitely not work?
I did this, I waited 1 calendar month before upgrading to Club Lloyds again. You then have to wait a further month before you get an email to select the lifestyle benefit.

I'll give it a try, thanks!

I was wondering how this might be implemented - having done a quick bit of research I see that basically Lloyds* have set themselves up with Disney+ as a 'third party invoicing partner', in the same way that like Apple, O2, Sky etc fulfil that role.

(*Lloyds won't have done this themselves, rather it'll be their agent 'Blackhawk Network'.)

    As the blurb says:
"Please note that if you purchase your subscription to Disney+ through a third party, your payment and account management will usually be done through the subscription partner."

This means that if you close the Club Lloyds account, they can then simply automatically revoke your Disney+ membership.

Interesting stuff. I didn't know how they do it but I know that they do because a friend learned the hard way. He was really peeved and even less happy when I pointed out that keeping the account and paying the monthly fiver is cheaper than the normal Disney+ fee (he's too lazy to cycle 2K through the account to save the fiver). So now he's trying to open another Lloyds account and he blames me for pointing out the offer in the first place!

Your a bad friend for offering sensible and helpful advice designed to get your friend some freebies….

Stuff the banks! Take everything they offer.

Happy to confirm they are honouring Premium for any new customers who selected their benefit last month, but only received the reward after they changed to the ads tier.

That gives me another year to figure out the next best way to get it for cheap. :D
