Looks nice mate hope Barclays do the same soon0

Wow 🤩 hope their cards are updated soon0

Lloyds have now sent me a new Club Lloyds debit card. This may sound a tad odd but has anyone else found that the new Club Lloyds debit cards smell like static electricity with a hint of burnt things or is this proof that I have finally gone mad?0

Why have they done that...didn't they close your accounts yesterday?Bridlington1 said:Lloyds have now sent me a new Club Lloyds debit card. I'm slightly baffled. I switched out my old Club Lloyds account just over a week ago, so I upgraded my remaining classic account to Club Lloyds on the off chance they'd close the Club Lloyds monthly saver due to my not having a Club Lloyds current account. I wanted to ensure I got an extra few days interest on the Club Lloyds monthly saver. They've now sent me a new debit card, which is kind of them I suppose, but entirely unnecessary.ForumUser7 said:

EDIT:
In answer to your second point I had made a miscalculation of one day when I created that thread. LBG are closing my accounts today, rather than 18th May.1 -
This thread has opened my eyes to a whole new world!1

All the cards now seem to be very much the same, and the platinum doesn't really look... platinum. Just a slightly different colour of green, unless you're a private banking customer.0

I have still received no club lloyds card months after upgrading as a new customer.0

I've found it's a bit hit and miss with LBG and new debit cards. When I upgraded my first Lloyds account to Club Lloyds last spring (4-5 months after opening), they never sent me a new card. When I upgraded the Lloyds classic account I opened in January this year into a Club Lloyds account (earlier this month) they decided to send me a new one.[Deleted User] said:I have still received no club lloyds card months after upgrading as a new customer.
Halifax did a similar thing. when they converted my old expresscash account into a current account I got a new card. When I upgraded the same account to a reward account nearly a year later they didn't bother.
