As I say in the other thread, the credit card designs are terrible. The standard current account is ok, but I suspect the club account will suffer from the same mismatch design. The old cards were far superior.

I wonder what the gold account card will look like. I remember the old Lloyds TSB gold service account card. It was very shiny.

I have been told via Lloyds live chat Facebook & Twitter the new design card ur live for all accounts so ordered new card as mine runs out in against will see if I get new design

It might be green and just say Gold in the corner. Lloyds Cashback credit card was silver/grey but the new one is just green and says cashback on it. 

First Direct's gold credit card hasn't been gold for years, it's black with gold writing.

I have a feeling it’s just going to say club Lloyds in the top right hand corner.

The sad decline of the gold card. I think the gold Amex is one of the few proper gold cards left.

Lloyds Bank cards are simply horrendous, they simply never work. Hopefully the new design will have sorted the issues, although they randomly decline and send false error codes to a database which doesn’t even properly store them.

My son had a SmartStart account for a short while, and the design has been similar for a short while. Funnily enough that had plenty of issues too and the card was of terrible build quality and honestly not very useful. Even staff agreed. In my opinion, the new one for adult accounts looks even worse. 😫

What's a proper gold card and how is it different from platinum? I mean in general, not just Amex.
