I've decided to have a go at Agile. Did it through their website. How soon can the switch happen?0

It'll probably happen at midnight.1

They should send you a T & C email which you have to agree to. It starts from the midnight (00:00) on the day you agree to the T & C. It did for me,

This one is important to remember - I've cooked a massive dinner at 5pm, then accepted T&C at 7pm thinking it will start from tomorrow/moment I click? - but no.. kicked off on the same day for the entire day!PennineAcute said:RavingMad said:I've decided to have a go at Agile. So being on Agile is saving us money without much load shifting even compared to the original tracker formula.
I have started to follow this person on X and will see how close their predictions are when the prices come out at 4pm

I reckon overnight will be lower because we have 4.39 at 10.30pm 🤞MultiFuelBurner said:So being on Agile is saving us money without much load shifting even compared to the original tracker formula.

These are my weekly stats on Agile vs Tracker

4.29kWp Solar system, 45/55 South/West split in cloudy rainy Cumbria.1 -
Weekly stats on the same comparison Eastern region so one affected greater by the new tracker formula.

You can do your own predictions:MultiFuelBurner said:So being on Agile is saving us money without much load shifting even compared to the original tracker formula.

1) for next day, follow the red chart (released at 10am):
https://data.nordpoolgroup.com/auction/n2ex/prices?deliveryDate=2024-02-22&deliveryAreas=NO2,UK¤cy=EUR&aggregation=Hourly
Just for rough idea divide values there by 7 and you will get quite a good guess. Obviously not related to 16-19 etc.
2) Long term, the closer the red line to green-yellow the cheaper the prices, if they almost touch it's likely to be negative:

So the next 2 nights will be cheap, then back to normal 10p+.2
