Octopus Agile

That's a little flawed as the formula is fixed for a year in it's current form. Agile now has a fixed end date like Tracker.
If you leave it a couple of months? Well no one knows at this stage.1 -
Agile won't change for a year, since yesterday it's a fixed tariff.
From their email:- Because of how Ofgem's price cap works, Agile is becoming a 'fixed term' tariff. Your unit prices still change daily but your unit price formula and standing charge will be fixed for 12 months.

The formula for agile will be fixed for 12 months from when you switch.Pat38493 said:The only reason I haven't switched back to Agile is that I suspect Octopus are going to increase the Agile price as well. If they don't do that in the next month or two I will switch.0 -
OK so actually if I change to Agile now, the formula is locked on the current one for a year?BellaBlondykeTheThird said:Pat38493 said:The only reason I haven't switched back to Agile is that I suspect Octopus are going to increase the Agile price as well. Yep that's correct 👍1 -
I moved to Agile from Tracker on the 15th and it has broken my smart meters. No readings on my account since. Is this common? If so does it correct itself?0

Mine was ok a few weeks ago. I would give Octopus a shout to get it checked outt0rt0ise said:I moved to Agile from Tracker on the 15th and it has broken my smart meters. No readings on my account since. Is this common? If so does it correct itself?0 -
Yes, give Octopus a should and also submit manual readings say once a week
I had a similar problem which took quite a while to resolve (and a lot of nagging) but it seems to be OK now1 -
I maybe should have said it has broken the smart meter readings sending function! The mini is showing current use but nothing else is showing. Even when I look at the monthly or yearly use on my account, via the web ir app, it just shows the 15th feb as one big block and no other dates before or after. I have contacted them via the app so far.BellaBlondykeTheThird said:
To be a pedant switching tariff cannot break your smart meter. (Note to self to understand if economy 7 switch sends an update?)t0rt0ise said:I moved to Agile from Tracker on the 15th and it has broken my smart meters. No readings on my account since. Is this common? If so does it correct itself?
My readings available on 3rd party apps like bright show a full day for 15th and just the first hour of 16th as usual. We have an Octopus mini so that shows immediate usage have you applied for a mini?
If it goes on a few more days contact them by X would be my advice.
edit to add: maybe the tariff change is a coincidence as it's also happened to others.0 -
There is an issue with the website not displaying history before a tariff change. The full history is still available via the app or API.
