I think these two tarrifs are difficult to compare like for like. If you have anything electricly heavy and are able to shift it to different times - heating, battery charging etc. and avoid cooking 16-19 then Agile will be better, otherwise Tracker really.
On normal days I beat Tracker slightly and that's with cooking at 3pm. On random windy days, especially when there are negative prices I can save a lot compared to Tracker.

£130 Tracker

Ah the new home Octopus Agile. Switched at midnight.

Last 30 days
£165 Tracker Nov 2022 v1
£200 Tracker Dec 2023 v1
£300 Flexible
£169 Agile (without any load shifting as we only switched today)
So not looking to shift a lot to match the old Tracker formula and won't be moving cooking out of the expensive 4-7pm period as an example.
Looking forward to what the figures are in 30 days time.

Next Thursday is looking like it could be a cheap day!4.29kWp Solar system, 45/55 South/West split in cloudy rainy Cumbria.2

I'm with you as just switched from tracker a few minutes ago although it says it will start from the midnight just gone. I won't load shift and have no battery, EV etc so am hoping this works for me. Based on the last month it should be okay but who knows!BellaBlondykeTheThird said:Ah the new home Octopus Agile. Switched at midnight.

I don't think you will regret it. We are Eastern region and that meant a 3.4p per kWh rise on tracker so it was a no brainwr and thanks to @multifuelburner for pointing this out early on the tracker chat.t0rt0ise said:

Having the Octopus mini helps as it's already shown me yesterday we averaged under 13.5p kWh on Agile versus 18.63p kwh.1 -
Yeah looks good that could be our very first price plunge and I am planning what we might put on timers and schedule.Spies said:Next Thursday is looking like it could be a cheap day!0 -

The only reason I haven't switched back to Agile is that I suspect Octopus are going to increase the Agile price as well. If they don't do that in the next month or two I will switch.0
