Octopus Agile

That was my entire point, without looking at the prices - in the last 3 months (which include the only time in a year when prices went 80p+) - I would have been better off being on Agile than on Cosy with 8h with 10p rate a day. It's all about average.
I think it can be very simple over summer - make most blindly during 13-16, least during 16-19 and you'll average below 20p/kWh. Maybe set a notification for negative price to go crazy 🤣
And as someone mentioned solar investment - its expensive, risky, seasonal.. and you start seeing savings in years from now, unlike Agile - instant.

For anyone who hasn't already noticed, there's a good long negative Agile pricing period tomorrow.

Nothing predicted this ..I looked at all the usual predictors this morning and nobody said, tomorrow we pay you.
I suppose that's why it's called Agile :-)

i think you may be waiting a very long time 😅
they were more benefitial before before April changes and energy uncertainty caused by Iran war now..
if electricity company can charge you 30p/kWh and get 35p from that there's very little benefit for them to give it for free

and yet, agile is doing that very thing, tomorrow?

Wrong three days ago this site did and I mentioned it earlier in this thread as well on a previous negative dip. Not affiliated to this site but it's been pretty good predicting early.

All as per contract. Agile sells you at market price, so when it costs them more than SVR they charge you more, when less then less, simple. Other fixed rate tarrifs make price predictions so they're not worse off - and with these two factors I mentioned earlier there is no benefits for them to lose money now.

Miss these days now I'm on Eon Next Smart Drive. Still, I'll plug the caron when I'm cooking the roast tomorrow and I expect they will schedule a charge so will at least benefit from getting my dinner done at 8p kWh rather than 28.

I am just coming up to my first year anniversary on Agile, got my solar a year ago and changed over. The app is telling me that my tariff is ending on 7 August, does it just carry on with Agile after that date or do I somehow renew it? I note that the tariff is still the same version I am already on.
