The technology is out there. I'm not some conspiracy theorist nutjob, but you never know what could happen.
Look at Greece and the authorities using aerial photographs to find swimming pools the owners weren't declaring and paying taxes on! It was in a TV programme Simon Reeves made a few years ago, repeated within the last few weeks.

🤣🤣🤣 that's what a conspiracy theorist would say. A swimming pool (presumably a decent size compared to two solar panels) this did make me laugh though so thankyou.
Greece has a problem with people paying taxes, tax evasion in general to the tune of billions on euros a year so not comparable to a couple of solar panels imo.

The avoidance situation is better than it used to be in Greece. Much less of the hand written bill at the end of a meal and 'the card machine is broken'….
