Electric heaters will be on timers as it's looking to be quite chilly

Same here. Also immersion on and battery set to charge. Possibly some laundry too.

Car plugged in awaiting the overnight bounty. An extravagantly long electric shower, before bed, is also on the cards. I might set the heat pump a degrees warmer, overnight. I think it might also be legionella cycle night, too/

Dishwasher, washing machine, and heating via electric here I think!

What is interesting is the lunchtime negative tomorrow: add batch bread making to the lists above. I make rolls and little loaves that freeze wonderfully. I buy flour by the 16kg bag so with cheap power it makes my bread very cheap. The only issue is it's so tasty I eat too much of it!

I hope you can freeze the bread and ration it until at least the next lot of plunge pricing!

If I'm organised, I might do some batch cooking between meetings.

Just under 11kWh used overnight - kitchen and bathroom underfloor heating ran in place of the gas central heating, oil filled rads kicked in during negatives (as the temperatures are now up a little we opted not to run them through the rest of the night as we didn't figure they were needed - it was a good way of maxing the negatives though!) and the dishwasher and washing machine went through with both also running across the negatives.

Looks like there might be some more of the same to come in the latter part of the weekend/early next week too - that is certainly going to help balance out the higher costs elsewhere in the month!

I managed to get through 13kWh. Car charged to 100% before the negative prices finished, so all's right with the world! Also, I don't have a dilemma of choosing between solar and Plunge - the intervals are surprisingly bright today.

I'm still running the electric heating and getting some laundry done. Not much solar today, so nice to be sure of getting the battery topped up. Import is at 21.5kWh and counting.

Many on here will know, but if buying an EV make sure you get V2L (vehicle to load) and an adapter, or even V2H or V2G. It's been useful on occasion to take the sting out of early evening prices as well as camping, picnics etc. Kettle, airfryer, microwave and single induction hob have all been connected to my car at various times.
