Octopus Agile

Slightly off topic: I'm thinking of switching to Octopus when my fix with BG expires. Online reviews seem largely positive. Would you recommend them? Thanks.0

Yesterday ended up at 45.59 kWh for -13p. Today (so far) is 20.78 for -14p. Currently exporting, but continuing to do endless laundry (there was a backlog due to a bedroom being emptied for renovation, and lots of grubby pet bedding and towels), using the immersion, filling the battery, and using electric heating should help me maximise the benefits AND mean the laundry mountain is gone. @EssexHebridean - I'm not going to risk putting the washing on the line, as I think it will probably blow away!0

Octopus have a much larger range of tariffs if you have a smart meter, Agile being one of them, so I think you'll be pleased with a switch.jamesrcmd said:Slightly off topic: I'm thinking of switching to Octopus when my fix with BG expires. 75 pence (including 65 pence sc) for 49 kWh.Don't think we will need the heating on for a good few days now as the fabric of the house should be nice and warm.0

I would, and have, to friends & family. Make sure you use a recommendation to grab the £50 sign on.jamesrcmd said:Slightly off topic: I'm thinking of switching to Octopus when my fix with BG expires. Online reviews seem largely positive. Would you recommend them? Thanks.0 -

Blimey, tomorrow's peak is quite high! This might be the first time I exceed Tracker since the highs of earlier in the year

Looks like most of next week is similar, no wind & very little sun, we do seem to have sat under high pressure for the vast majority of this year made bearable with long periods of clear skies for nationwide solar generation. We're going to need some low pressure systems moving in this autumn & winter or it could get quite difficult to stick with Agile.0

So if I move to Tracker, am I stuck with it for a month?0
-
Does tracker look like a good alternative to you? Tomorrows price in my region is 27p/kWh, which is above SVT. I believe the loophole of being able to automatically get back onto Agile via the web page without waiting a month has now been closed.RavingMad said:So if I move to Tracker, am I stuck with it for a month?0
