This is all very off-topic for an Octopus Agile thread, can't you have this conversation somewhere else?2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.5

We were on Agile for nearly 12 months in November we switched back from Agile to standard Octopus Go, financially we are finding the Go rate better.12 x 370 Watt J A panels Solis 3.6 invertor. Solax AC invertor and 5.8 triple battery0

Thursday was the first time in three weeks that I would have been better on Fixed and it's not looking great judging by emoncms.
Anyone thinking of jumping back to Fixed for a short length of time? If I use the links @TroubledTarts provided, it should be all automated and not worry about the 30 day rule?0 -
I jumped onto the 16M fixed for a few days in mid-February but was back on Agile within a week. There hasn't been a day since 13 Feb when a fixed tariff was cheaper for me, and even then there was only a few pence in it.
The switch back and to was immediately, all done online, and no problem at all.2 -

I'm currently using Economy 7 alongside my solar and batteries. The little I need to import is currently under 14p into my batteries at night time, I'm not seeing Agile rates lower overnight than these at the moment. If there are cheap rates during the day, it's debateable if it's much use to me if it's a sunny day and I have fully charged batteries. I'm also benefiting from the fixed day rate being cheaper than the Agile peak in the 4-7pm slot where I'll occasionally need more than I can pull from the batteries if say the oven and microwave are on at the same time.Make £2025 in 2025
