Is anyone else missing the date for Saturday on Octopus (Agile)?

My data has come through for all the other days except Saturday.  On the app, Saturday is missing.  On the Octopus website, Saturday has data but it's the exact same value as Sunday which is wrong.

3rd Party app Bright, shows that my meter data is fully available for Saturday so it is not an issue with my meter.
  • Mine looks to be all as it should be - I suspect it might just be a data gap in what has been pulled and from experience it suggests it will right itself in the course of the following few days.

As for tomorrow, shall we just say "ouch"?!

It's becoming clear that Agile is not going to work for us over winter. We cannot sustain the heating (ASHP) off for the 3h peak period, as the temperature in the house is plummeting too quickly (I had hoped improved insulation may have helped, but it hasn't), and I cannot bring myself to run the ASHP at 50p plus per kWh during the peak period.
So we are looking for other tariffs without the evening peak rate. Any suggestions?
I know Tomato have some good looking options, but their billing and CS are awful so that's a non-starter.
EDF offer a heat pump tariff at the SVR with two cheap slots at 4-7am and 1-4pm charged at 10p off the SVR - that's the kind of thing that interests me, but their SEG rates for solar export are rubbish. We have ASHP + solar, but no batteries and no EV.
Anyone else thinking of jumping ship over winter, and if so what are you considering?

  • Defer my decision till Dec 23 expires mid Feb  but use the intervening time to research what the best alternatives are, fixed and variable

I'm using Intelligent Go but I have a compatible EV charger, I get 11:30pm to 5:30am at 7p, then when I plug the car in, I get another few hours between 7am and 10am

The average for the 20kWh my ASHP has consumed so far today is 15p/kWh

Yesterday was just under 20p/kWh without using any extra 7p sessions and the ASHP consumed 19.3kWh

I think you could get just standard Go without an EV but the lower rate is 8.5p

  • Sounds as though you might be right about agile and your house but it'd also be worth looking at why the temperature plummets. I've an old gas boiler and a 1950s ex council house, I've only had the boiler on the past few days, I turned it off at 3.30 today (trying to minimise my bill not because of agile peak) it's still 16 degrees as it was at 3.30 now in the two rooms that the radiators were turned on despite all the internal doors being open.

16c isn't warm, the warmer your keep your house, the faster the heatloss will be, as the temperature difference between inside and outside is greater and energy (heat) wants to move to the colder part more quickly.

My house is kept between 19c and 21c with my heatpump because I'm tired of feeling a chill constantly

Tomato's billing is OK, it may be shifted by 30mins in worst case scenario. Customer service is getting better, but they're overwhelmed.. I've never needed them, neither Octopus CS really.
My only issue with them so far is how long they will last..
Other than that prices are great.

Would the Octopus Cosy work for you?

I considered Cosy myself but its really not great value, I'm fortunate enough to be able to use IOG otherwise I'd still be on Agile!
