the Octopus Compare app will show you what your previous day/week/month would have cost on any of the Octopus tariffs, well worth using if in any doubt. Agile has saved me atleast £10 (~20%) every month since I joined Octopus in March

edit actually I haven't changed how I do things in general but I do make a point of putting the washing on when it's particularly cheap and occasionally batch cook those days too
  • Hopefully Mrs EH won’t upset Mr EH by going overboard with batch cooking, washing, drying etc. all night tonight 😁

Just remember all those new to Agile the plunge is very small don't go risking things with electric fan type heaters on overnight or other electrical items that should be attended.

Tried to find the current SVR tariff - Doesn't appear to be listed which affects the "savings compared to..." calculations.

It's called flexible octopus. Weirdly you choose April 2023 and it has the latest rates.

We chose a decent day to jump to Agile didn’t we! Already had the WM ready to run tonight, just tweaked it to continue on with a dry cycle to take advantage of some of the negative stuff. I’ll be breaking out the Tapo plugs to enable a bit more shifting, too.  DW will be going on for an extra run as well!

Thanks. Savings are looking a little more reasonable.

Used 23kWh overnight. Although have spotted one if the days last week their data pull didn't work as it's missing data for the day. The data is all there on N3rgy.

Does anyone know if they will attempt another pull before the bill is generated and if not,  will they average just that day or the entire bill with a standard usage pattern?

Not sure why they haven't coded their systems to automatically pull it the next day if it didn't arrive the previous day.
