Can one take that as a general conclusion when making comparisons with Tracker? [EV's, battery]Telegraph Sam
There are also unknown unknowns - the one's we don't know we don't know0 -
I've just read some FB groups and some people said they:
a) called Tomato and these "EV/battery" options are indicative only, you can choose what suits you better
b) some EV owners preferred the earlier slot 20:30-22:30 so they haven't selected "EV" to get the non-EV version

A suitably smart NSH on the EV tariff would beat most heat pumps.0

Can u get variable direct debit on Tomato, that is one of the things I like about Octopus compared to British Gas, but the higher s/c's when the fix ends are not so inviting compared to Tomato, as a very low user. Octopus does offer a zero s/c tariff for business customers so they need to do something for consumers, especially with TOU where they help to take stress off the Grid.0

@wrf12345 I don't think anyone knows, at least nobody has been charged yet
T&C says direct debit, that will be adjusted but then also mentions epxected yearly divided by 12..
So I assume you can't.0 -
There are of course two decent tomato threads should those that need to know about tomato and not Agile? Search is your friend.
Agile on the other hand looks like we are coming into a little wind. We have been doing our bit with two hot curries in the past week.6 -

Quick question - I have been playing about with a few numbers and currently it appears we could save on Agile even without much if any load shifting. As some may recall, were no strangers to load shifting anyway having spent 20 years on E7 prior to moving here, so I’ve got little doubt that we can improve on the “bare minimum” we’ve seen. My OH is currently a wee bit twitchy about the change - we’re currently on a fairly solid 15m fix, so I can understand his edginess. My question is - and I am sure this is findable somewhere on Octopus’ website but can’t see it currently - if we change to Agile and then decide it’s not for us, how soon can we jump back to the variable?🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
