    Morning my lovelies xx

I'm here, lurking along. My first week back at work after Annual Leave has been ermmmm interesting shall we say. First day back it took 10 minutes for the smile to be wiped off my face and half a day later I felt like I needed a few days off. The pinnacle was yesterday morning when I screamed so loud with frustration that colleagues came running from offices on both sides. Total meltdown. Went for a walk. Sat in my car for 10 minutes. Then returned to work. Long story short: high ups got involved and middle manager had to stop fudging and provide solutions. Maybe I need to lose my temper more often!!! But it's so exhausting. And I have no energy left for flying when I come home. I just say Hi to the spiders and ignore the cobwebs.....you think I'm kidding? 🤔 Unfortunately not.

Anyhoo. Today is a new day. It's Friyayyyyyy 💃. I do make my bed and feed the birds every day. And put out the recycling.

Wishing you all a good day. Wish me luck as I collect my boxing gloves and go in for another round. Ommmmmm.

    Morning all.
Enormous (((hugs))) to round xx and anyone else in need xxx

Life has got crazier this week since C@dent (the company responsible for the gas pipe network in this area) discovered 6 houses including ours which were not even on their maps.  We now have a big hole outside our back gate, an oil-filled electric radiator* to keep us warm tomorrow when they turn our mains off in order to replace the pipes with yellow snakes, and a pile of coats on the dining table with more to be dragged out of the cupboard under the stairs this evening so that they can get to the meter.  Grrr!

*The radiator (or we could have had fan heaters or electric blankets) is free and ours to keep because we are on the Priority Services Register.  We've also had extra visits from the site manager to make sure we're OK.  I do heartily recommend that anyone eligible joins the PSR - it covers people with chronic health conditions and other disabilities, but you have to register yourself, it's not automatic.  Details on your gas or electricity website.

I have to go to the gym now and get back by 3.00 to meet the chief engineer to sort out where they will route our new mains pipe, as a garage with concrete floor was built onto the side of the house some time after its original construction - it's now my utility. Flying will be limited today and tomorrow but will involve cleaning out the cupboard under the stairs and the back porch, so not all bad.

Catch up later.  Hope the sun is shining where you are xxx

Thank you kaz, iona and Pollybear xxx

This morning was tough but this afternoon was much better and now it's weekend woot woot 💃💃

I called at the PO on my way home and paid my rent. I've put out all the recycling including ripping up a cardboard box and recycling it. And I'm about to eat freezer pizza and watch telly.

Got my gas bill for the last 3 months. Gulp. Bit steep. But hoping less usage in the summer months will average it out. I've not needed the heating on for a few nights this week - but I think it's turned cold again this evening. So it's on again.

    Much love toall
