Fayolle said:Morning all.
Up with the lark - sort of. I find it easier to get up and at ‘em when it is daylight. Do sloths hibernate? I’m pretty sure they don’t but I will defer to my learned fellow sloths, Narc0 and Round 😊. Otherwise maybe I am part sloth, part hedgehog.
Most of the flying today and yesterday has been by Mr N, although I have kept up with washing, washing up, wiping surfaces, filling bird feeders and minor stuff. I heard him vacuuming for quite a while yesterday while I was writing a report.
I'm making slow, but steady progress on the clothes tidying/culling/re-wardrobing and the charity pile is getting bigger.
I'm also making progress on catching up with reports after our weekend away and week off pending; 2 whole and 1 part report to write; 3 assessments to do before we go away at the end of next week.
Greenhouse seeds are coming up and I'm still sowing.
Exercise is nowhere near enough, ditto drum practice although I'm doing a bit of both - zumba yesterday and gym swim today.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.6 -
What a day.. seriously I am too old to deal with my life right now..*deletes huge amount of info about life shhhhtuff.. * (Even I think it is a lot!!)
WM, DW, TD, S&S kitchen and loo, pack ups, dinner, stuff on line, dry stuff folded and away.. and Lionel watched.. I have got nothing done today and tomorrow isn't looking promising either.
I have the form for Squeaks EHCP referral.. and a proper diagnosis of situational mutism.. the speech therapist took 6 months to write a 2 page report.. 6 months!!! I'd have written it while on the phone and added bits and resources after and had it done the next day!!
I would like just a few days of no 'other things' just a nice boring day of nothingness!!
poops and giggles... CF TOLD DD1 he is taking Jazzles out on Sunday when it is his 5th birthday.. DD1 very firmly said no.. she doesn't leave him in the same room unsupervised but they think they can dictate terms.. DD1 is not happy but it was good for a giggle.
3 squares of blanket knitted.. (5 done)
Cuppa and bed.. wine gums in the sweetie jar and bourbons (the biscuit type!!) in the tin.. help thyself
I am looking at a teasmaid for by my bed on weekend mornings.. or weekdays.. as wakey-up incentive..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)6 -

Hi all
Christmasshopper2 I follow my own lists which I write on a Sunday night. I have a few golden rules though, 1 - I do some flying every day even it its only the basics, 2 - I never sit down on a night until the kitchen is put to bed, 3 - I try to avoid waiting until things look dirty before they get cleaned, 4 - I try hard to keep on top of laundry. It gets easier the longer you do it.
Paid stuff is tough, a customer is impossible to please and is getting to me a bit, even though I know I havent done anything wrong. It's easy to start to doubt yourself when someone is constantly criticising you and complaining though.
House is reasonably clean and tidy, I am WFH tomorrow so will get a bit of time to catch up a bit. Roll on Easter, I want a long weekend off!6 -
Oooh what is everyone up to? I keep refreshing and you have all deserted me!!Small has dentist this morning so depending on how that goes she may not be getting to school after lunch.I have run out of laundry but plenty of junk to move from downstairs to up so that is on the cards for today.
