On MSE Main page why are the latest date posts I can see are all April? But then when I go onto a thread they say today?

Like I said, we all have different thresholds for this stuff and it's not really money lost. And you never know, maybe their system will be dumb enough to pay me the £75 anyway even though I will only have met some of the conditions. It's unlikely but it has happened with other account switches. Either way I won't be complainingWillPS said:boingy said:I took the £125 and opted not to jump through all the hoops for the extra £75. It's the debit card that causes me the most problems because I rarely use one so I'd be contriving five transactions I didn't really want each month. I'd probably have done it if it was only for one or two months but six months crossed my "too much bother" threshold. I guess we all have different thresholds. You've done yourself out of £105 as you could have had 6 x £5 cashback payments too.Worth faffing about with 20 £1 NS&I deposits but even easier if you spend at Amazon as they let you do a £1 a day top up.0 -
I've had the same issue - no clue why. Perhaps worth letting the forum team know via emailMACKEM99 said:On MSE Main page why are the latest date posts I can see are all April? N.B. (Amended from Forum Rules): You must investigate, and check several times, before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my content, as nothing I post is advice, rather it is personal opinion and is solely for discussion purposes. I research before my posts, and I never intend to share anything that is misleading, misinforming, or out of date, but don't rely on everything you read. Some of the information changes quickly, is my own opinion or may be incorrect. Verify anything you read before acting on it to protect yourself because you are responsible for any action you consequently make... DYOR, YMMV etc.1 -
So it's not just me then. In my case it seems to be showing the latest posts as being ones from exactly 40 days ago, right down to the last minute on most boards and has been doing this for months now. I stopped getting email notifications from MSE in December as well for some reason I don't know if anyone else has had this. I just assumed it was my "gremlin effect" that I seem to have on so many technical systems I come across so interesting to hear it's happening with others as well.ForumUser7 said:

Same, quite frustrating. Also frustrating that the forum breadcrumbs are missing a step.

It's a long running problem that the developers have to date been unable to fix.MACKEM99 said:On MSE Main page why are the latest date posts I can see are all April? But then when I go onto a thread they say today?
