There is a Change.org petition going to "Save Caramac". It was just shy of 1k votes when I looked at it yesterday evening.

Personally, I cannot see what all the fuss is about.

I am a fan of the vanilla flavour so do like the full sugar version of cream soda. Haven't seen it for over 3 years now.

Did see the low sugar version maybe 1-2 years ago.

As an alternative there is Coke Zero vanilla flavour but that has been removed from my supermarket. It is sometimes available in my local corner shop, sometimes.

Thanks. Apparently I wasn’t looking in the right places.

It's always in the local Lidls here.  They almost never have the plain Zero version and OH doesn't like the flavoured ones.  Personally I don't much like coke at all and would never willingly drink things with sweetener but that's just me.

in terms of coke zero, the plain is usually in the majority in the places I shop. They sometimes have coke zero cherry but normally never have the coke zero vanilla.

No. Never seen them but it would appear that I am in the minority that didn't enjoy Caramac in the first place! Which was not a problem as there were plenty of other items of confectionery I couldn't say no too as a child...or an adult, for that matter.
