Saving lots in pots!

Been watching lots of budgeting videos on the U tubs and just purchased a A6 binder with wallet sleeves to help me ! I know its an expense, buts its the small things that help make you smile and keep you going. I think this will help me focus and make savings goals easier.

Im also going to do the 52 cash stuffing envelopes challenge, even though its already May, im going to attempt, how many weeks do we have left??? Im hoping to catch up with a few too..... off to find some evelops i can use and stickers / glue to seal them or else i know i will be tempted to dip in!!

Aw im glad the videos have helped you.  Will you be using the binder for weekly cash envelopes or to use for savings? I have 4 binders, 1 for my cash in weeks that I need to stuff on a weekly basis, 2 are my Annual Savings, 3 is my Variable Savings and finally the last one is for Saving Challenges.  Im a bit OTT on budgeting but its helped me to get myself out of debt and saving! 

Regarding the 52 week envelope challenge there are 34 weeks left to the end of the year thats from Sunday 7th May.  Good luck, I promise this is a really good way to save!

So I found some old envelopes from when the kids were in primary school! Perfect for this! 
So as I'm way behind this challenge ones to do a month at a time eek! So to start me off i've done £1/£2/£3/£4/£41


Once sealed they are gong in the drawstring bag to be forgotten about. This is going to be saving for next year's holiday, or at least a good way towards it.

to be honest im not completetly sure how im going to use it, but i think for weekly cash for certain things, if it works i might get another for savings!!

Thanks for letting me know theres 34 weeks left, Ill do what I can to catch up, but im not gonna worry if I cant

i use panel base at the moment and have had a fair amount of payouts from there to fund an ISA.

Hi Contro1, PA is Prolific Academic, its a survey site, but its used by academics and universities around the world for their research. Ive found it really good and I enjoy quite alot of the studies, its good knowing that it helps PHD students and the like. It is however very popular and busy and hard to catch the studies, they come up and go very fast!

Yey! weve sold a second book on the bay of E, need to get some lego sets listed as we now have a few complete and ready to go.

All selling fnds are going into the uni pot, i just need to prize them out of DHs account into the account ready and waiting. He does seem to still be very reluctant to stat this pot!!

A few more mini figs listed on the bay of E by DH whilst I was at work this morning #~ yey!. I decided to work as can't have too many mondays off. 3 bank holiday in 1 month is crazy! particulary so when Monday is my clinic day and my main day of working!!

Next task is to claw the pennies we have recived from recent sales and get them in that uni Pot ! (wish me luck, DH is quite reluctant to do this, maybe filling in the student finance form just now will be helpful in focusing his mind!!)

Large order from Te$$o done early today and arriving tonight, I know Ive had to pay for the service, but I defeintely save more than the delivery fee by not picking up extras as I walk around the store going ooh that looks nice and ooh we need one of those!!

Happy tuesday!
Im very pleased to say that Finally, the uni pot has began, Dh has set up the savings account and added 40, plus another 40 from the recent Eb4y sales and yesterday I did a drum so another 20 has gone in.

It's only 5 months until one of them goes, the other is now thinking that they will have a gap year and work, 💷💷💷😍

Money Saving today ~

so this morning i put in my ethical order, using the local ethical food club I save some pennies on a few staples that we buy like faith in nature shampoo and oatly barrista which is £1.79 instaead of £2.10 So we get a dozen the order is every 2 weeks and we get through a lot of oatly!!
