  • I've been in the same mood as you flowerpot 😫 it's not good is it. I can't seem to shift it for long.
The sun has finally come out here though after being a total washout all day. It seems to follow a pattern .... Cloudy miserable cold then sun comes out when I need to be stuck in the kitchen cooking dinner 🍽️ I have started walking the dog later and later now it's lighter evenings so I can enjoy the sunshine!
Hope your mood shifts soon. Don't think we had the storm here unless I slept through it 🤣

Congratulations on the mortgage figures!! I was happy at being in the 97k's🤣 I'd be ecstatic if it was as low as yours!
    MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. May 1st, £116, 123, June 1st, £115,536, New mortgage added for extension- £165,000 July 1st!

Im sorry to hear you are also feeling meh! I am utterly fed up
I am really pleased about the mortgage, but because Ive now stopped my overpayments, its only the autimative extra payment, which is great, but I did find it satisying and motivating to get surveys to fund the OPs. Now im using the surveys to add into my pension I don't seem to have the same motivation ~ I cant understand why!!

    PLans for the day:
    post office
    gardening
    taxiing DD
sleep!! ~ up far to early today
    healing work

Pension seems so far away whereas the mortgage is now, it's outstanding and easier to focus on clearing rather than saving for 20 odd years.

Leggings and jeggings always seem to go in the same place. You've done well to get 3 years out of them. I've just picked some up from A1D1.

Is there anything you enjoy, just for you, to have 30 mins of self-attention, not mom, wife, family or work related. There's a lot going on and with the slump you're at risk of burnout, if nots not already started.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

    Thank MF,
There has certainly been alot of stress over the last 6 months and gong back over the last 3 years with my DSis illness/passing. I think I am burnt out! I just have no energy to do anything, even the basics like housework have stopped. I manage to get in the garden here and there and push myself, but know the following day I will have to have a rest day. I manage to sort DD out which takes a huge amount of my time but also car amount s of energy trying to manage her emotions and keeping her on track. Then there DH with his on-going  eye problem and shay DS1 has a lot of mental health issues.
Anyway that's enough moaning, i am intending to take it easy over the weekend.
I am meeting up with one of my sisters friends tomorrow, which will be lovely and it's in m AND s so will take a look at their trousers and see if any look like possible options for work!

Glad to hear you had a lovely catch up. Hope your short work day passes quickly and you enjoy the rest of the day.
