    Fantastic refund, could some of it cover your trip?

    It's still not the right time of year for gardening. Maybe sow seeds indoors to quench the desire to prepare.

    MovingForwards ~not doing any actual planting/seed sowing yet, as you say not the right time, just tidying up what I should have already done, leaves greenhouse extra!! i do also need to prune the roses.
    MAybe later as its a nice sunny day here!

    So today is the the 1st of February! I need to have a look at my Jan list, I dont think I managed half the jobs, so need to rewrite it and add more and see what I can acheive this month.

    pension: £15 this week

    challenges: 
    £1 a day ~ £60/366 £29 added For Feb
    1p 365 challenge (XMAS savings) ~ £175
    52 week envelope stuffing ~ £ 6/52   £50 and £52 added
    MMOP ~ £0/ £60 FEB  BUT there is already £10 in PA awaiting withdrawal
    ISA - i put £50 across again, but stupidly did not put the reference in so I did to contact them today as its not appeared, not surprisingly!!

    Pots are growing nicely and Im feeling a lot more in control than I did this time last year

    lovely news about the HMRC refund, so pleased for you 😊 Liek you say; maybe you neede that nasty shock bill last year to get yourself focused and this is the 'reward'!

    Yey! Thank you arrietty. I am pleased with the pots so far too. 

    Will have a couple of slim weeks as we are 6 weeks on from xmas and alot of my patients book 6 weekly. But all is good

    0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
    House sale OCT 2022 = NOW MORTGAGE FREE 🤗
    House purchase completed FEB 2023 🥳🍾 Left work. 🤗

    Retired at 55 & now living off the equity £10k a year (until pensions start at 60 & 67).

  • First few months after Christmas people seem to tighten their belts and cut a few things out / extend periods between.  Is there any way you can look over your history, see what month's they are and save some money throughout the year to have an even monthly budget to work with?

    Save your ISA as a payee, with reference, after you've got this sorted out. 

    Budgets are looking good, you've got this sussed now 😊
