Court claim received

You seem to have forgotten about that checklist in the template Defence thread that you were once following.Rugby82 said:I've received DQ N180 form. Can I email it back to them or does it have to go by mail?
You now need to be reading items 8, 9, 10 and 11 on that checklist.4 -
I emailed the N180 form to the ccbc email but have still received from the court a letter telling me to send in the n180 within 7 days. I have emailed it on e again but I'm now concerned the court won't act on my email and move to strike out the case as they will do if no response in 7 days
Wondering if there is an issue at the court in the terms of backlog?0 -
Did you get an auto-response email from the CNBC when you emailed your N180? If you didn't receive the auto-response, then it is highly likely your email didn't go through. If so, try using a different email agent.1

Just forward it again with a slightly angry covering email. Make sure you get an auto-reply.Rugby82 said:I emailed the N180 form to the ccbc email but have still received from the court a letter telling me to send in the n180 within 7 days. And whilst your case is quiet we currently need people like you to do one email to change the law:REALLY IMPORTANT THIS MONTH:Please please (please) do this and give the Government your evidence - threatogram letters going back years - and tell them how it all feels and why you refused to just roll over and pay:

Explained there.
PLEASE READ AND JOIN US.
It's one email. One question; will take minutes.
Make sure you attach copies of the aggressive £170 demand letters and the Claim form (redact your address and claim number/password) to provide evidence of what the parking industry and their greedy 'debt -chasers' attacked you with.
Obviously state at the start of your email response to the DLUHC that you are a consumer and are answering Question 4.
The added £70 on top of an already very high penalty - plus 8% interest - has inflated the claim ridiculously and makes you less likely to deal with horrific bullies like the parking debt firms.
They rely on picking off vulnerable people but the way the money has increased (to five times the original discounted PCN at £60) looks very much like extortion. This business and bulk litigation abuse of small claims with badly-pleaded template 'claims' should be illegal.Add that you want your case to help the DLUHC to have sufficient evidence and case studies to ban the so-called 'debt recovery fee'...Etc.
In your own words.

I have a heating date 31/01/24 but it's not in person and will be considered on the papers. I asked for ig not to be on the papers.
But there is a trial fee of £27 that must be paid by the claiment by 3rd Jan or alternatively they have to file a properly completed application by this date. Otherwise it will be struck out
By 29th Dec each party must file all documents we intend to rely on in court. I have my witness statement and that's it really. I parked in wrong spot but didn't see a sign etc
There is as an offer of mediation - any thoughts on this?0 -
Please refer back to the NEWBIES thread which has clear advice on WS (with examples linked) and on saying an absolute 'no' to Mediation.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sorry for the question but I'm a bit confused. My hearing date is 31/01/24
1. I have until 29th Dec to submit WS and docs to rely on
2. I have until 7 days before hearing to submit the trial bundle
What is the difference between 1. and 2.? Can I submit just a WS without docs at 1. And then include any docs at 2. ?0 -
No you can't.
You have a deadline and you know that it requires your WS and evidence docs (all of it) and you know what that looks like because I signposted you to the ones to copy and adapt.
The complete trial 'bundle' is normally done by the other side's solicitor and includes BOTH parties' WS bundles that they already filed and served earlier.
Do yours now. This weekend to get it out of your hair and you might even see the case discontinued when the other side see it!
DCBLegal are HIGHLY LIKELY to discontinue as soon as you email your WS and evidence. Why not get that lovely letter before Xmas, like all these:

Dcbl had until 3rd Jan to file better particulars in the correct format or pay £27 to the court. They filed a WS and exhibits prior to this date so I assume they have met this requirement? Is there any way to check?
Also the hearing is to be on the papers despite requesting in a previous form to the court that I would like an in person hearing. Is there any way I can get an in person hearing?
I filed my own WS prior to Christmas.
Thanks0 -
Unfortunately a hearing on the papers will stop them from discontinuing and hands them an advantage. Which court?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
