Feeling a little better this morning. Will mostly be taking it easy today.I’ve been sorting old photos and want to end up with just enough to fill 2 drawers in my bedroom (apart from wedding photos now in the back of the cupboard in my spare room 😆). It’s something I can do laying down and do a bit at a time. Had a pounding headache yesterday and couldn’t bear to have music or the tv on, so this was something I could do between snoozes.I am pleased at how much I have managed to declutter so far. I may need to get some new photo albums when I feel better. 2 old albums (about 40 years old) binned as the pages have lost their “sticky” and photos were falling out. Have sorted the photos from inside them and am trying to do a family tree / timeline on my bedroom floor ready to go into new albums. I’ve been meaning to sort my photos for years & have got rid of lots of random / too dark / blurry ones. The only photos in any order / in nice albums are photos of DS as a baby / growing up.Managed to cook 2 trays of chicken in the oven, just bunged in the oven, left to cool, then frozen. Plus I fried courgettes and peppers and a few chicken fillets with fajita spice and had some on a wrap with natural yoghurt and grated cheese and fresh sliced tomatoes. The rest has been frozen. Did stuff between lie downs as I have to keep getting up and moving around to stop back pain.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

You're doing well sorting bits out while ill. Don't overdo your bursts, get the heating on as we'll be in the very low use season soon.
I hope you feel a little better today xMortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Thanks for all your get well soon wishes.❤️ The heating is on. I’ve had beans on toast & 2 cuppas and am now back in bed 😆 Just waiting for pills to start working then I will have a nice warm shower and hair wash which will hopefully make me feel a bit better.Have £833 left in my instant access saver for March. That will be 12 x £833 = £9996 spent on living my new life and I have had a fantastic 1st year of retirement. Will then draw down the next £10k for April onwards. £70k still invested in 1 & 2 year bonds. Will be looking for a new account to reinvest the 1 yr £20k when I feel better.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Hopefully you will get some decent interest paid on those bonds.1

You've had a fab 1st year & achieved loads in all aspects ..your different advance 'pots' show how important it is to have these in place for peace of mind . Love your diary & looking forward to the next chapter x1

Just goes to show being MF and having a good lifestyle / adventures doesn't need to cost a fortune.
Is it worth looking at 2 and 3 year bonds, with a notice account for a smaller pot to cover emergencies.
Hope you're feeling a little stronger today.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1
