Hope you feel better soon. Good idea to stay home and keep warm and snug.
Did you sort a plan for your bonds after they matured?1 -
Thanks @[Deleted User]
I have been rather poorly but starting to come out of it now. Have done a covid test and it’s negative so I’m going shopping today.N wide said they will be writing to me before my bonds mature as I opened them in branch. Then I can inform them what I want to do with the money. The first 1yr matures in feb. I will start to look for another investment towards end of jan.My car insurance renewal should arrive in the post soon. I’ve had an email from D Line & am expecting renewal to be much higher. Have also had an email from g&e supplier so will be submitting my meter readings today or tomorrow. Heating has been on a fair bit, especially the last few days.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

You have a good credit balance for energy. Do not skimp on heat when poorly.1

Thanks Baron_Dale I will keep warm. Although it’s quite windy here today it’s not cold. Supposed to be down to -2 tomorrow 🥶
Sorry to hear you have a lurgy at your house too SQS. Hope you all feel better soon x
Ive been shopping this morning but it has really worn me out. I had some butternut squash soup from the freezer for lunch & am back in bed with tissues stuck up my nose 😪🤧🤒 Think I will cancel aquafit tomorrow
Todays spends mr t included half shoulder of lamb £4.19 (half price)
Mince beef £3.30 tin beans & toms, parsnips, bottle port (gift) reduced from £14 to £9. Various chocolate Xmas gifts - some on offers, best saving was a box malt zers £2.00 with 50p off, so £1.50. I used to buy them for £1 but they were £2.50 this year even in the “cheaper” shops b n m & £land!!I am going to roast the lamb on a bed of parsnips, butternut squash and carrots for dinner tonight. Nice and easy just bung in oven & some green
veg from the freezer. Tomorrow I will use half the mince in the slow cooker with tinned beans and toms, butternut squash & chilli powder.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Felt dreadful this morning. Ate porridge for breakfast and put chilli in the slow cooker then went back to bed for an hour. Cancelled aquafit last night as I didn’t think I would be up to it today.Went for a walk to my old school friends house this afternoon in the sun for some fresh air & cup of tea. She took me shopping yesterday & is also unwell with a sinus infection so we were both snuffling 🤧 Had some chilli for dinner and I am back in bed. I have no plans for this weekend & am going to stay in and rest.I submitted my gas and electric meter readings today and got the bill already. £110.08. This is with the heating on for a few hours a day and the dehumidifier on 8 hours every night. So my budget is £100 a month & the balance £10.08 will be paid from my surplus credit pot of £500.My only blk Fri day purchase has been a pair of christmas socks for my DSis £2 with free delivery to my local asd@ 😆0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Hey SYA - sorry to hear you still aren’t right. We are fighting the good fight along side you - I know it’s bad but I’ve been working through it as have been able to work from home so am
not passing my germs along.
you are smart to avoid Aquafit till you are 100% - and sounds like you got the energy spends situation sorted. How are you finding it with the humidifier? Is it making a difference? Xx

Thanks SQS. The dehumidifier is removing lots of water overnight. There has been no signs of damp in the kitchen diner so all good so far.Cupboards are almost bare so I will need to get a few bits of shopping next week. I will hopefully be back at aquafit on Tuesday and pick up a cooked chicken, eggs & low carb bread, apples & Dsis Christmas socks 😆 I should have enough food with that & what is left in my freezer.
breakfasts - cereal, porridge,
lunch - egg on toast, beans on toast, tuna mayo sandwich, curried parsnip soup, roast chicken sandwich
dinner - 3 x chilli, any leftover chicken made into curry with broccoli and cauliflower, 1 portion batch cooked tandoori chicken & roasted Mediterranean veg, 1 portion mince & onions with gravy, swede & carrot mash & green beans.“Payday” next Thursday & will probably do a big aldee shop then. Remaining in current account £48.81 & will need £10 petrol on Tuesday.
Temperature was 12.5 degrees this morning in my bedroom so the heating is now on to warm the house before I get up!0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
