Great news about PD!
Good result with your car too.
There seems to be a theme of cooked chicken after class and your veggies are a lot more varied since moving. Tumbling toms are a great buy.
We double up on duvets when it gets cold, but having the room itself at 18° would be too stuffy.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Thanks MF ❤️When I come out of aquafit I am usually ravenous & in my past life would have gone for junk food, mainly k fc. 🍗🍟 So instead I treat myself to a hot roast chicken once a week & have some with salad in the summer/ pre-made butternut squash “roasted chips” (warmed in microwave) & gravy (granuals) in the winter 😋 The leftover chicken does several meals / sandwiches/ wraps (low carb ones) so is worth the £6.50.
Portable thermostat says 13.5 this morning but I am lovely and warm in bed 😆 I have just put the heating on, the radiator in my room / living room and kitchen are huge and so it will soon warm up.
I have 5 days left of the amaxon prime free trial. I have ordered my DSis a book which should be delivered today. Then I will cancel it. Book will be paid for from Christmas pot.Weather forecast is sunny all day so I am going to wash my bedding and hopefully it will dry out on the line. Tomorrow I am going to the remembrance service with DF and then we will have lunch at mine later in the afternoon. Must remember to get the reduced belly pork out of the freezer to defrost.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Yesterday was a bitter cold morning here with freezing fog. 🥶 Put my thermals on, several layers & big long winter coat & went with DF to remembrance service. Donation to RBL £5 cash in my purse. Back to DF’s and 2 cups of tea to warm up.Home again & heating was on for most of the afternoon. DF came down for roast dinner. It’s been raining since. The new owners next door have had a skip delivered and started taking off plaster etc so they will not have any heating on. I am the end terrace so it will hopefully be warmer when they finish and move in.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Not sure if A still do their 'have another free trial' thing when you cancel.
A great use of the chicken and very satisfying after a work out.
Hope the neighbours work is quickly completed and isn't too much of an inconvenience.
I think it's 1 day of sun expected this week, the rain is a shock to the system after being in the garden wearing a t-shirt the weekend 🤭Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Hey SYA - hope you are managing to keep warm enough - it’s been so chilly and miserable today!Been thinking about your party wall with the renovators - could you hang up a large blanket or curtain against the wall until they complete work? If you can use something thick enough it could also help muffle building work noise. I know it sounds a bit mad but honestly it helps xxLancashire

Thanks MF & SQS
It was blowing a gale here yesterday but sunny. I will have to go out and inspect the roof this morning & pick up the plastic pots / recycling box that have blown across the garden. It was a warmer day thankfully so I only had the heating on for an hour in the morning & evening. No banging from the neighbours 😆 They did tell me they intended to remove the chimney breast in the living room (opposite wall not my side) and the skip is full of bricks.Shopping yesterday aldee £31.79 included an Xmas pressie £2.45 and b&m £4.75 included 2 Xmas pressies £2.25. Will transfer the money from the Xmas/birthday pot.Aquafit this morning then off to my friends house this afternoon for cuppa and chat.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Just having my morning cuppa before I get up.Popped into asd@ yesterday on way home from aquafit and got 4 tins of J W tuna in spring water £1.20 plus cherry toms rtc 26p and a bag of 6 pears rtc 50p.Forecast is for sun and moderate winds today so I plan on washing my bedding to dry outside. DF is popping in later to help me turn up the hem on my bedroom curtains. He gave me 2 leeks and a parsnip yesterday so they will go in a beef stew in the slow cooker this morning with carrots and swede. Flu jab this afternoon.Tomorrow we are catching the bus into nearby town. DF has his free bus pass and it is still £2 each way for me. Will pop into n wide to discuss how my bond is paid out when it matures in the new year. Also plan on getting some Xmas pressies and DF said he will treat us to fish and chips 😋 Going to old school friends for cuppa later in the afternoon.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Went into town with DF on the bus.Bus fare £4
m & s buck fizz £5 gift - Xmas fund
m & s biscuits £5.50 gift - Xmas fund
led torch & batteries £2.25
gloves for me £2 (wool gloves with rubber grip on fingers /palm for driving in cold weather)
Fish & chips, mushy peas, bread & butter & pot of tea £7.50 each, paid by DF 😋 I will pay next time we eat out.Returned home & walked to friends for a cuppa & she had bought us both a cake. 😋 We are going to the local pub on Saturday for a few drinks and greek night food.Sale of another friends mums cottage & land has completed now probate granted. Lots of childhood memories looking after & riding her horses & spending time in the old stone cottage with roaring fire. It’s sad walking past now it’s empty and padlocked. 😢According to people at the bus stop this morning it has been bought by a developer and it’s likely they are planning to demolish the cottage and build 6 houses on the large plot instead0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Sad news about the potential developer, fingers crossed it's a small one who builds properties with character rather than the usual identical conveyor belt ones.
Add some ready made gnocchi to your stew as pretend dumplings.
Greek night will be fun.
Have you many presents left to get?

Thanks MF. Looking forward to Greek night 😊
Have been feeling grotty since last night & a bit snuffly. Maybe just a reaction to the flu jab. Made myself go to aquafit then got a hot roast chicken using asd@ app & got £1.50 off. Home & washed towels and swimsuit. Hung them out as it was sunny and warm but no wind so they didn’t dry. Have put them on airers.I’ve still got a few gifts to buy. Should be able to get most of them in Mr T / B&M. Still need to get cards, wrap & gift bags too.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
