…have you got a lot of boxes left from the move?  I think we still have 2 boxes unopened and we
    moved almost 5 years ago!
I have 2 boxes in my bedroom. I have emptied the small one with my makeup & chucked lots of old stuff. 2 boxes in the spare room & not sure what’s in them. I think if they are still there in 5 years I will chuck them too 😆

  • Good news PD has a lipoma non cancerous fatty lump. Just need to keep an eye on it. If it gets too big vet says they can remove it.

Aqua fit was very energetic today & then went to lunch. Fish and chips, salad and mushy peas £7.95. Drove back home & then we walked up the hill to birthday girls house for a glass of wine. Lovely afternoon.

  • Thank you Baron_Dale and SQS 😊 Such a relief that it’s not cancer again

I have put the money to one side for now. There might be a visit to a local out of town shopping centre with lunch and Christmas shopping later this month or next. I used the cash in my purse to pay for lunch yesterday

It’s dark and raining here today. Supposed to brighten up after lunch. DF is going to pop round later to help me check my car (lights / windscreen wipers etc) before it’s mot tomorrow.

SO pleased to hear the good news about PD!  XXXX
    I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy
  • Thanks @Chrystal ❤️

DF has been round to help me prepare my car for mot tomorrow. Checked all lights working, cleaned windscreen wipers with vinegar & tyres checked. Tyres seem to have enough tread. Topped up water & oiled bonnet hinge which was sticking. Kept him topped up with cups of tea 😊

Chilli made in slow cooker, beef mince, beans & butternut squash. 😋

Great to hear the good news!
  • Thanks DSP 😊

Car has had its service / mot and new front brake pads £249.20. Paid from car pot. Amount remaining £550.80. Advisories on 2 front tyres so will be looking to replace them. With my low mileage they said they should last until the new year.

Went to garden centre with DF while my car was in the garage. He treated us to bacon roll & pot of tea each 😋 Found some tumbling Tom seeds £3.50 to grow next year in the hanging basket with shepherds crook stand left behind by previous owners. I will just need to buy a liner nearer the time. Also bought a can of de-icer half price as no lid. £1.50

Popped round to friends house for cuppa & cake in the afternoon. Not a very low carb / low sugar day 🤦‍♀️

Dark & wet outside today. Aquafit later & will probably get a cooked hot roast chicken on the way home. Weather forecast is showing a sunny afternoon so I will hopefully get my towels & swimsuit washed & hung out to dry

  • It turned into a sunny day so towels have been washed and hung out. Now brought inside and put on airers. It’s turning cold & supposed to be down to 2 degrees tonight 🥶

Heating has been on for about an hour & house is a comfortable 17 degrees. I wear fleecy pjs at night and fluffy bed socks & my current quilt is 10.5 tog. The coldest it has been in my bedroom is 14 degrees. I have been reading the bedroom should be 18 degrees at night!  😳 I have a 4.5 tog quilt that I can throw on if it gets colder.

Popped into asd@ after aquafit and bought a hot roast chicken £6.50. Parsnips reduced to 34p and carrots 35p. 4 pints milk £1.45 & block of cheese £3. Plus 6 slices of belly pork yellow stickered from £4 to £2.34 which have gone in the freezer for Sunday lunch with DF.

Dinner tonight is liver & onions with roast parsnips & carrots & butternut squash & green beans. Liver was bought on Monday £2 from morries with a long date on it & there should be enough for 3 meals.
