Have been taking the new pills in the evening and so far no side effects 🤞

Am pootling about in the car each day and should be driving back to my sisters (2 hours) in a couple of weeks. It’s a friends wedding Suze, not family, but my sister is coming with me as my +1. I am definitely NOT buying a hat.😂 I am just not a hat person, I just don’t have the head for it 🤓😉 I have a dress but I’m having second thoughts. I haven’t worn a dress in years and have lost my confidence. My sister says it looks nice but I’m not sure if she is just being kind. It’s navy blue stretchy fabric, with a thin cream swirl, short sleeves, midi length.

Phoned the hospital yesterday and am waiting for physio consultation due to exercises triggering my previous frozen shoulder. Did lightly hoover my rugs & flick at dust downstairs. My surgeon said I can get on and do everything now apart from lifting heavy stuff especially above my shoulders. My sister washed my bedding and it dried outside when she brought me home & she remade the bed as I struggled to put fitted sheets on the mattress and put the duvet cover on.

Walked to my friends in the afternoon for a cuppa and we are going out for lunch today. Had a walk back home the long way round.

It's lovely to read that you're getting out and about and doing a lit bit more and for a little bit longer each day. Just a day pottering around yesterday. Went for a walk in the morning before it got too hot and again about 5pm to my friends to drop off birthday gift & card for her husband. Card was asd@ £1.50 & gift bag £1.49. 4 pack of cherry cider (aldee £2.99) plus some chocolate £1.75. All from birthday pot. We ended up ordering in for dinner and her husband insisted on paying.

I walked home around 7.30 and watered the garden pots about 9pm plus cut back a couple of dead plants. It was getting dark by then so I came in. Nights are drawing in already.

Out with my niece on Monday for her birthday. I have a card £1.99 with £10 in and will treat her and little lad to lunch 🥰 Tuesday I am out in the morning with my friend for brunch at ‘spoons my turn to pay.

More pottering at home yesterday. Very warm so I hung out a small load of washing and spent the rest of the day reading and watching tv with the fan on. Had a little walk when it cooled down.

My big river order arrived and I’m a bit disappointed. The shoes £22.99 and bag £16.65 are lovely, creamy beige to go with navy dress for friends wedding but the shoes are really tight and I’m not sure I have time to wear them in. May have to send them back. The shrug I ordered £10.79 should have been creamy beige tie front & looked like proper solid fabric on the pictures but is actually like a bit of net curtain 🫤 I will try it on with the dress & send it back if I don’t like it.

Didn’t sleep very well last night. Was just going up to bed around 9pm when my friend rang. I’d taken my med at 8pm and was feeling drowsy, but she has also had a cancer scare so I didn’t want to ask her to ring back, thankfully so far her tests are all clear which is great news. I fell asleep shortly after she hung up around 10pm and woke about 11.30 🙄 nodded off again until 3ish then again until 6ish. Then some of my neighbours were having a loud chat outside my open windows at 7.40am, so I still feel tired 🥱

I’m not sure what the plan is for today. I offered to take my niece out for lunch as her partner is working away overnight, but it seems we may be going out for the day and travelling. I tried to gently steer her closer to home so 🤞 she will have taken the hint.

Had a lovely day out yesterday with niece and little lad 🥰 we went to a national trust managed gardens & castle not too far away. Little lad had a good run around & we had lunch plus cake and ice cream later in the afternoon. Did lots of walking and there was outdoor play so we were all exhausted 🤣 thankfully the weather wasn’t too hot (low 20’s) & there was lots of shaded areas & seating under the trees. We were all slathered in sun cream.

Entry was £11.30 (2 adults minus vat reduction announced by govt) plus food & even though we all took water bottles we needed extra drinks total £31.75. If we had been more organised/ efficient / MSE we would have taken a picnic but under the circumstances and as it was niece’s birthday it was a treat.

Weather forecast for next few days is hot, hot, hot 🥵 28’ today, 30’ tomorrow, 34’ on Thursday 😳and 28 on Friday, before dropping back to 23’ so it’s unlikely I will be going out much until Saturday!!

I’m out to local little high street with my friend later this morning for brunch at ‘spoons and will be shopping at aldee tomorrow morning but otherwise I will be mostly indoors with my fan on!
