Thanks Suze. I get both inside and outside. My dehumidifier is a compressor and in kitchen would go into defrost mode even with the heating on with living room at 17, in kitchen saying 13 degrees. Tonight it says 17 degrees inside kitchen and 17.5 in living room so seems to have evened up the temperature downstairs & dehumidifier is happily still working ☺️0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Happy new radiator, very important to be toasty in the kitchen.
I don't have a radiator in my kitchen but use a a tiny fan heater if I'm cold and it does warm the room quickly ... can't warm plates on a fan heater though!ERF savings target = £20k by January 2028 ... October 2025 balance = £8217.86

One of my best buys ever, was an old style plate warmer. Black glass with embedded heating element and wooden handles. Brilliant bit of kit and I’ve had it for c. 20 years now after buying it second hand off bay of e 😊

Have received figures from the est agent about number of views on RM website for period of 14 days on the market & apparently over 700 😳 Not sure how accurate that is or why it’s not converting into viewings. We now have 6 months council tax free then 6 months at 100% before it goes to 200% 😔 Dad would be mortified if he knew. I will speak to EA and my sister about the price. Maybe we need to reduce. The one opposite me has been dropped £10k for almost a month now & still not sold.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Good news sya about radiator, a bargain really as you will feel the benefits of that for years to come. 6 months is a very long time in the housing market. Christmas is always a slow period and the late budget hasn't helped. It hasn't been on the market for long really and maybe you could wait a bit longer, it's easy to reduce the price.2

Thanks Tresinia. I’ve asked the EA for feedback. He hasn’t really said much apart from giving the figures.I have also been looking at yesterday’s MSE weekly deals newsletter. I am sure I’ve seen a letter about dad’s energy fix ending and there looks to be a low user / low standing charge tariff with ed f. I will have a proper look at it later today. No plans for today other than clean up downstairs & pack for going away on Friday0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Heard from my friend and she received her card the next day.Tresinia511 said:Sya, let us know if the 'first class' mail service does, in fact, turn out to be first class. We get letters less than once a week now and our postie says the rm are " prioritising parcels"It’s warmer this morning 14.5 on thermostat when I woke up & no condensation but probably because it’s warmer outside. With all the speculation before the budget I personally wouldn't have wanted to commit myself to anything. When Christmas is over & people have a little brainspace things should look up.2

I agree that it's probably better to hold out until after Christmas if you can."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1
