13.5 degrees in my bedroom this morning so I’ve put the heating on and am waiting for it to warm up before I get up.My friend is picking me up around 9am and we are going for breakfast/ brunch. I’ve made a shopping list to try and stay in budget just milk & bread, eggs & stew items. Remaining in current account £45.28 which should cover food today & groceries next week. I put petrol in the car yesterday so should be enough to last until I pay myself next Friday.I’m also going to start looking at Christmas gifts. Pot currently stands at £355 with another £50 at end of November. Should be enough to cover all xmas and birthdays including 2nd class stamps. I think I still have some Xmas cards & gift wrap left from last year.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

A little condensation on my house windows again this morning. Anyone got any other suggestions?
1. Run extractor fan in bathroom while showering
2. Use silicone squeegee after shower to remove water from sides of shower enclosure & swish water down to drain at end of enclosure
3. Close bathroom door & open window for 10 minutes
4. wipe condensation off windows in the morning with paper & flush away so it doesn’t go back into the air
5. Dehumidifier on for a couple of hours downstairs if I am home.6. Only boil water I need in kettle (1person = one cup just on minimum water level)
7. No boiling in pans. I use microwave and wipe out condensation when done.8. If cooking a lot of veg I use an electric steamer placed under kitchen extractor fan turned on full & dehumidifier on. Once finished I pour the hot water away.9. Kitchen extractor fan & dehumidifier on when cooking especially when using the oven / opening oven door.
10. Dehumidifier on for couple of hours in the evening
11. Try to dry washing outside. If drying washing inside I give it an extra spin & shut in kitchen & put dehumidifier on washing setting
12. Use a disposable moisture absorber in my kitchen cupboard which gets condensation inside!0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Hey Suze condensation gone once I wiped it off & hasn’t come back. Thermostat set at 18 & furry throw over me. Feel cold & tired. Not checked condensation at dads today. Train trip may be cancelled tomorrow if we get heavy snow tonight.

To be honest Suze unless there is snow I would rather get it over with 😕
No plans for the weekend. Car insurance is due for renewal in December so I need to get quotes. Currently with aviv@ £262.30 last year now £261.16 with the addition of basic breakdown cover as standard. I have full cover with flag of green £63.84 so need to consider that. (Due for renewal end Jan). Full cover upgrade with insurance £75.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Good quote on car insurance sya. When we used to have a caravan we left large pots of salt everywhere to soak moisture in the air. Worked well1

Thanks Tresinia 😊 That’s my renewal so I will see what effect removing the breakdown cover has and then get quotes. My current breakdown cover has remained the same price for a few years now after negotiating and I have a couple of months left on my current policy. I have always found it cheaper in previous years to stay with them rather than add to my insurance.I will also have a look at the salt option. Disposable moisture absorbers were £1 so when I have used it up I will try refilling with salt 750g is 65p at aldee according to their website. I wonder how long salt will last and how much water it will remove? How will I know if it has reached saturation point and will some of the water evaporate back into the air?Awake early again and I still don’t want to get out of my warm bed 🤭 I need to see if it has snowed overnight. The trains currently show running on time so it looks like I will be going. Need to get it over with. I also need to ring the plumber and see if he is still coming next week to put in another radiator. The kitchen diner has been so cold I’ve just shut the door on it and not ventured in at night. I’ve been snug in the living room with the door shut and the thermostat set at 18’ when I took the thermostat into the kitchen it dropped to 15’ even with the heating on 😳 It is supposed to warm up a bit next week 🤞
Today I will put stew in the slow cooker. Supposed to be a sunny, cold & still day today. Tuesday is the next sunny day with wind according to my weather forecast so I won’t bother doing any washing today. Phone call to plumber. I know he seen my reply to his text message quote as it shows he has read it. Visit with family member. Then off to my friends house for cuppa & cake when I get back.Have just peeked outside and no snow but cars are glistening in the street light so it’s frosty. I’ll have another hour in bed then put the heating on0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
