Thanks dia, Arrietty, Tresinia and Suze. DF is not feeling any better unfortunately his stronger pain killers have had side effects so he has stopped taking them. CT scan was yesterday but they have told him 2 weeks for results 😞

Have cancelled aquafit. Fence arriving this afternoon. Moment of truth will be when I pay him we will see if £750 was correct 🤔

Sorry to hear about df. Really hope he is feeling better soon,  he is such a stalwart usually! If they quoted £750 then £750 it should be!

SYA - so sorry to hear the pain is ongoing - I used to work in an imaging dept and generally speaking if there was something of concern then radiographer tends to wave the scans under the consultants secretary’s nose quickly.  Hope they are able to put your minds at rest quickly!

    Thanks Suze ❤️

Fence arrived this afternoon and all stacked in the garden. Have paid from diy pot £750. Just need to get some bags of concrete next week.
Went to local chemist in the car. Too hot to walk 🥵 Popped up to see DF and have a shopping list for him in the morning. Then going to my friends house in the afternoon.

It was lovely and misty and cool this morning. I got DF his paper and shopping. Got myself some pork chops and they are now in the slow cooker with the last of the butternut squash. Cooked the last of the chicken with courgettes and peppers and fajita spice to have with chopped fresh tomatoes, grated cheese & natural yogurt.

The sun has now appeared & it’s due to get very hot later. All windows are open & there is a bit of a breeze blowing through and washing machine/ dishwasher are on.

That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy

Sya, I love how you include the weather status in your posts.  I sometimes wonder what the weather was doing this time last year and I just pop on your post last year and bingo, you were going to a church fayre this weekend 2024 and it was spotting with rain😁 . Any summer fares this year have lucked out for sure
