Sya, I find myself coming to your posts for relaxation and calm. You may not realise, but you positively exude the essence of a calm and organised life. This is an important thing to learn as I know this position did not come from an easy place. I remember your earlier articles when you were struggling with work and before you moved. I know you have made sacrifices to earn this life but then we all have to one way or another. Life is nothing if not compromise but your ability to plan and organise should be bottled ha ha, I would buy some7

Aw shucks thanks Tresinia, Suze and DIA 😘 You are all so kind and part of the reason I still post here. The cable arrived yesterday and I spent a few hours watching old videos of DS. ☺️
Cold and cloudy with sunny spells today. Have been lifting the stair carpet with DF to reveal the original wooden step up into each bedroom from the small landing. It will need filling and sanding, undercoat and topcoat. Then I can replace the stair carpet with a new one.I drove and picked up a k fc for lunch for us both £16.97 from my entertainment pot. DF has said he will pay next time we go out. I have moved lots of stuff back into the spare room storage. Am having a rest this afternoon ☺️
Aquafit tomorrow then GP diabetic nurse appointment in the afternoon. Wednesday we are going to look at carpets! I’m surprised DF has agreed to come with me after last time 😂0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Cold and grey morning I am trying to motivate myself to get out of bed 😂
Interest April
6% account £24.66 into visit family pot
This interest will stay the same (depending on days in the month) as balance never changes
Annual living pot £14.88 into emergency fund. The interest will reduce as the balance goes down every month)
Various savings pots £2.40 left in account
Cash isa £4.65. This is my diy pot so balance will go downEmergency fund £850 + £14.88 = £864.88
visiting family pot £120 + £24.66 = £144.66
If there is anything leftover at the end of the month I will put it in the visiting family pot. Watching the old videos of DS as a baby has made me quite emotional / nostalgic so I’m hoping to visit again soon.Right must get up and start the day …0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I think always seem to have the exact same weather. We are on the same coast but quite far apart, maybe we sit in the same weather band

It was 15.5 degrees this morning 🥶 so I put the heating on!I’m 2 - 2.5 hours from the east coast in South Yorkshire just east of the Pennines dia. It’s warmer this afternoon and sunny with blue skies and a few white clouds.Called off at asd@ on the way home from aquafit and bought a cooked chicken, loaf of no added sugar bread (9g carb a slice) and some carrots for Somerset pork casserole in my slow cooker tomorrow0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Had a good chat with the diabetic nurse. All good including foot check. Next test in 6 months and she will dispose of my sharps from the monitor if I take them in to her next week.Home again and I have sprayed the weeds on my front parking coming through the herringbone blocks.DF has been sanding and filling the wooden step at each side at the top of the stairs ready for painting. We will pick up some undercoat in the range tomorrow as it is near to the carpet shop. I already have a tin of satin for the top coat. They were the cheapest for small tins.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Glad you had a good result at your diabetic check, although I am not surprised.
