Thanks dia. Wishful thinking Suze 😂

Had a lovely lunch out with DF and niece & little one. DF insisted on paying (just under £30 for 4 meals and drinks @ spoons). My levels rocketed so wrap and chips was too much carbs but it was yum. Spent the remainder of the day resting.

Today I am going to do some washing and have a sit in the garden in the sun. DF is popping in this morning before he goes away for the weekend tomorrow. Friend said she would pop in for a cuppa this afternoon.

Not sure whether to cancel aquafit on Friday.

Sya, I think aquafit might sound like a good idea as you haven't been a couple of times,  but don't underestimate the power of a chest infection.  It weakens your system and always takes longer to get properly right than you think.  It's not work,  you don't have to go and it's not worth rushing. I would wait a little longer, when you are ready to go back, you won't be asking yourself if you should or not.

Thanks Tresinia. Thankfully no chest infection, it’s been nasal congestion & headache/pain in sinuses / ears. Have put towels in the wash & tidied up a bit. Now need a sit down again so you are right I am not ready for aquafit and have cancelled it.

Have just seen this in this weeks MSE email. Worth a look to see if anyone qualifies for a water social tariff. It’s certainly something I will look at when I’m 67 and my pensions are around £17000 with not much savings left.

Lovely sunny morning here ☀️ I’m washing sofa throws and cushion covers to line dry. After being poorly for most of March there is lots of housework needs doing but I will just do a bit at a time.

Today will be cleaning the bathroom (which has been just been getting a bleach & wipe over) and hoover my room. There is no carpet in the spare room at the moment. I will hoover the stairs and landing tomorrow. I would like to wash the upstairs windows/ sills over the weekend. At least the spare room windows, ready to hang the new curtains I bought in January.

Don’t worry there will be lots of resting too 😉

My garden is covered in weeds. DF sprayed the weeds coming up through the gravel yesterday. I will make a start on weeding my rockery/ herb garden. Just a small section each day 5-10 mins.

This afternoon I am going for a short walk to my friends for a cuppa 😊

Credit card statement has now appeared online so I will sort out payment from the various pots later

Sya glad to hear you are improving.  Take your time and get you strength back slowly, and reap the rewards as summer approaches. Enjoy your afternoon  tea,  it's a top sun-shiney day for it x

Good to see you up and sounding so much better. A short walk and tea with a friend is good.
I'm pleased you are pacing yourself  :)

    Thanks Tresinia and dia 😊

I had a steady day yesterday. Cleaned the bathroom. Hoovered my bedroom. Then wiped down my nieces 4 plastic garden chairs that had been in my shed since she moved and she popped over to collect them. No gardening done.

Afternoon tea and cake at my friends. Cake spiked my levels but not as much as expected and less than ice-cream. Walked to hers and back 10 mins each way. Sat in her garden and have caught the sun. Will have to dig out my suncream! Also had a short 10 min walk after dinner so 30 mins total.

This months money shuffle done and pots have been updated. Regular saver interest £23.84 to travel pot. ‘Money to live off’ account interest £19.91 to emergency fund. Current pots

    Visit family £120
    annual bills/ insurances £240
    car £735
    xmas/birthday £191
    emergency fund £850
    DS wedding £1000

I have booked to have my hair cut next weekend. Will be paid from annual bills pot.
