It makes sense that crustless quiche was good and crumpets not so much! I suspect porridge won't so great for bs despite being healthy
Your bot saga made me LOL

I’ve been eating less carbs for a while now until I fell ill. Faceache is not as bad today and can finally breathe through my nose! Although did have a nosebleed earlier when I blew it so will need to be gentle with myself 😆

Lovely sunny day, I have managed to put a wash on and hang it out. Haven’t seen DF for over a week but don’t want to pass it on. Windows are open to let the house air. Supposed to be cold and rainy after today. My spring flowers planted last year are blooming in my rockery 😊

One weetbix with a little skimmed milk was ok this morning. I think 2 with more milk would be too much. Fish stew was great last night. Eating from the freezer today. Need some shopping tomorrow. Have cancelled aquafit.

Sya I was looking back through your diary to start of year,  after getting my new council tax bill,  (up 5.2%) from £151 to  £159 monthly. Band B.  Water up from  65.82 a month to £72.82, an increase of 10.6%! (I pay over 8 months).I checked back on amounts since I came to this house in 2009 and the ct has risen by 58% and water by 112% in that time. I know it's over many years but These rises are mandatory,  we have to pay,  yet our income never goes up like this.  Crazy. Interestingly, there were some years where there were no rises.  Can't see that happening now.

Also I spotted the discussion about state pension age and when and if it will rise again.  This is the latest time table.  It gets updated on the .gov website if there are any changes but here is a summary:

Thanks Tresinia 😊 It’s interesting to see how much your bills have changed. Would you save with a water meter.? The last govt said we would get 10 years notice if they were to change the pensions age again. I am just over 10 years away. 🤞

Lovely sunny day v breezy. Still struggling with nasal congestion but not painful so far and head is clear so short 10min drive to aldee. Got my list plus 70% choc, porridge sachets, Brazil nuts, 2 boxes tissues, total £23.11

2 weet bics was too much for me this morning, although just within range I will stick with one in future. Will be interesting to see how I am with porridge, especially as the nurse practitioner at GP surgery told me no weet bics but ok porridge without any testing. Is most type 2 just guesswork 🙄
