@SuzeQStan has said what I was thinking SYA.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, along with lots of very gentle ((((hugs)))) XXXX
I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy3 -
thinking of you. Look after yourself and remember to ask your lovely friends for help when you need it. You’d be the first to offer help to others xx
slowly working towards being MF one small over payment at a time :T3 -
Sya, I'm sad to hear this. I'm going for a mammogram next week. It feels like a chore but then you realise that it's a potential life saver, if you didn't notice yourself first, it might catch it earlier than otherwise. Still another journey begins. We will walk alongside you as always if that's what you need xxx

Sorry to hear your news and sending positive thoughts for your treatment. Remember that you can always vent to us when you feel that you may not be able to do this in real life.

Sorry to hear that. Echoing what everyone else says. We're here for you. Wishing you all the best for the treatment xx

A mammogram - one of the cheapest forms of insurance in existence. I hope it all goes well & hopefully caught very early.

Thank you all for your lovely kind comments and support. ❤️ My last scheduled mammogram was Jan 2025 and was clear so this has happened since then, (consultant said I may have had it when dad was ill), so its also important to check yourself between standard scans too.
This morning was lovely and sunny. I put a beef stew in my slow cooker then went up to the church coffee morning and plant sale with my friend at 10am. Had a bacon roll £3, cuppa £1, slice of lemon drizzle cake £1. Also bought a sage plant £1 and geranium album £2. Friend came back for a cuppa then I hung my washing out, did some weeding and dug out the dead sage and planted up my new plants in the herb/rock garden. It’s clouded over now so I’ve come indoors. I will probably rest and read a book this afternoon

Feeling tired today despite napping yesterday afternoon and sleeping 7 hours last night. It’s a bit grey here this morning. If it brightens up later I might do another 2 bags of bark onto the border. 4 1/2 still to do. Rain forecast from 12. I need to file dads paperwork away then start my own so my son has it all to hand when he needs it in future.
Tomorrow I am out for lunch with my friend. My Breast cancer care nurse is due to phone in the afternoon. I have booked aquafit for Tuesday and Friday mornings. Need to try and keep up with the exercise and healthy eating.
A statement arrived from my 2 year bond so full interest up to 5 April 2026 was

Sya, can't sniff at 3k interest in anyone's book! Useful little pot

Thanks Tresinia 😊 it’s been in the diy pot apart from the 2 year bond interest which stays in the account until the end of year 2.
It’s been cold and raining again here. I’ve filed all dad’s paperwork and statements and put it in the spare room wardrobe. Just waiting for the final statement for the executor account & then I will close the account which is now empty.
I’ve been thinking about getting new double glazing using some of the money dad left me. I need to get the contact details from my neighbours who both said they were really happy with their installers. Just need to find out my treatment dates then I will have an idea of when I can book them. A few of the windows have blown and they don’t shut properly so dad put window seals on them as a short term fix, but the whole units need replacing. I was wondering about self cleaning glass, has anyone else got this? I must admit I have not cleaned my windows since I moved in apart from a splodge of bird poop once at the back 🤣 At least the house should be warmer through the winter.
Looking forward to lunch out tomorrow. Next week I have my 2nd ultrasound then I’m going to stay with my sister.
