glad to see your post SYA - you sound plenty busy! I’ve found thick chip bark to be an excellent weed suppressant for a good couple of seasons. Once it starts to break down the weeds pop through but I tend to just throw another layer of bark on in that case 🤣

Enjoy cuppa with your mate xx

    Good morning,

you're busier than a buzzy bee at the moment 😄

I'm hoping to emulate your levels of productivity when I no longer go to work full time but… you have set the bar quite high! I really like the look of bark chips on borders so can imagine how pretty yours are looking.

Hope you enjoy some sunshine today.

    Thanks Suze and Arrietty ☺️

Am exhausted 🥱 Stressful drive, maps on phone stopped working half way into city to visit relative. Have never driven there before but managed to pull over and get it back on & arrived safely, dropped off stuff & chat then home again. Was reminded why I don’t go but bit my tongue as dad asked me to.

Went to my friends for cuppa and de-stress. Trying to chill now. D day tomorrow, (distribution day), last day of April and normally payday. Once done I can concentrate on hospital appointment on Friday.

Very well done Sya in navigating the final leg of the journey no one asks to make. Your next priority must be your health and wellbeing. Rest up and soldier on but remember you are the mistress of your own world, there's no better position to be in. You decide what's what and that's that

Wowsers … what a week you are having! Plan some kind of treat for yourself for the weekend?

Well done on holding your tongue. Perhaps you won’t have to see too much of this particular relative going forwards … 😉

SYA - so sorry the bank let you down with bad advice. I believe you could write a book about the whole process you have been through. There seem to be so many pitfalls at what is the worst time for them.

As regards the hospital- if you have any concerns at all about the treatment path you are on - please consider speaking to the patient liaison service - PALS. - people can be fobbed off or treated poorly - but there are good people out there who want to help too.

Take pen and paper to make notes and write down any concerns you have and anything you want to mention prior to your appointment.

Garden of Remembrance sounds a lovely place. Will be thinking of you tomorrow ❤️
