    😂🤣😂 Suze.

DF finished the wallpaper today and it looks great. Oatmeal colour and green leafy pattern over the bed. I wasn’t much help. Mainly laid down & DF couldn’t hear me as my voice is now just a little squeak.

My bedroom carpet is sage green and will be cut down to fit the spare room. My room is greys & silvery glittery bits & white furniture with purple / pink bedding/ photo frame / flowers so I am going to get a new carpet.

I put the last of the swede and carrots in the slow cooker with an onion and pack of chicken thighs. One portion for dinner and the leftovers will be frozen.

    Glad you cancelled aqua fit
    Your colours sound lovely.
     DF to the rescue again!
I'm going to copy your supper today. I must use my slow cooker much more. How long do you cook it for?

Have been mostly resting today. Ordered a carpet stretcher chosen by DF £26.99 and new underlay £39.95 should arrive next week. Free delivery. Curry on in my slow cooker. 2 drawers sorted in bedroom and a bag of rags for cleaning.

Going to the garden centre one day next week for a hanging basket liner for my tumbling toms and I will treat DF to lunch. I hope to feel well enough for aquafit on Tuesday

Copied you and stuck a dal in the instantpot. It came out ok, but a bit thick...
Hope lunch with DF was good

Lunch is next week dia. Food in the garden centre is usually good.

Fed up of this blinking lurgy now. Coughing when I lay down. Nose running when I sit up. Have to admit to eating chocolate and ice cream 🤦‍♀️ Have probably ruined my hba1c so I have ordered a blood sugar monitor and will test to keep myself accountable. Am fed up of just guessing

Ah, I misread. Maybe it is just as well as you will be hopefully over the lurgy by then
I will watch your journey with the BS monitor with interest.

    Thanks dia and Suze 😊

Still feeling awful. Pain has moved to my face mainly jaw and cheeks (sinuses) still a bit congested plus headache.

Unfortunately a bit of choc & ice cream has been a lot of choc and ice cream plus cake. chips and crumpets with butter. Always fancy salt and vinegar chips when I have a sore throat. I seem to have been ill for most of March. I’m supposed to be going to aquafit on Friday but may end up cancelling again. Slept on and off most of yesterday. Kept having to turn off the tv as my ears are ringing and can’t concentrate enough to read.

I have opened a cash isa so my £10k is in one account so it doesn’t get mixed up and spent. My emergency fund plus diy pot is in the isa. Emergency fund currently £830 and any interest on my savings accounts will be split between the emergency fund and the holiday/ visiting family pot.
