Good news about the roof Tresinia 👏 Yes I am in no rush to do anything else to mine 😆
Aquafit this morning. Did a final shop of the month in aldee & then round to my friends house for cuppa & cake was consumed. Ate the last of the chocolate coins last night so I really need to get back in control of my eating.I have decided to bury my head in the sand about car insurance for a few days. Then I will ring them. On the assumptions they say my car has a thatch erm immobiliser. First I’ve heard of it so I changed it to none. Not sure I have done the right thing. Car manual doesnt say either way & can’t find answer online. May have to contact hyunday or garage to check car if insurance wants a definite answer.Off to farm shop tomorrow with DF (the tv one I’ve mentioned before). Only £0.81p left in my current account but I have £22 in cash in my purse incase I see anything healthy sugar free that I fancy 😋0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I thought they all had immobilisers now. But I don't know what kind. As in you take the key out of the ignition & the steering won't turn. Is that a thatcham immobiliser.

I have no idea badmemory 😆
I thought an immobiliser meant your car could not be hot wired or driven off without the key ?? Thatch am is just a makers name ??
I think most cars have them “now” but mine is first registered Jan 2013. Lots of stuff online about them not having immobilisers so it’s clear as mud to me!!0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I have serious posh farm shop envy SYA - last time I went to one I got the nicest sweet corn on the husk of my entire life. Leave it in the husk - 2 minutes on high in the microwave and you need no butter, salt or anything it tastes gorgeous just as it is. 🌽 😋 enjoy your farm shop visit with DF 🥰
don’t blame you about taking your time with the insurance SYA - you never know you may find a ‘bl@ck Friday’ deal!! 🤣
Very boring health condition here - but reckon the increase in cost could be eye watering! Will update.Lancashire

After lots of gooogling I have found the thatch website and my car has a factory fitted category 2 immobiliser. My car handbook has details of an immobiliser light that comes on my dashboard and goes off when it recognises my key. What a palaver! I got in contact with insurance company and explained that I only just found out about it and they told me to take out the policy then change it (at a cost) but then I found that I could change it on the quote before paying so it’s all done and paid for. Such a relief to be done.Last year £271 (DL)
Renewal £390. (Reduced £323 after phone call)
New policy £256 ( a viva)
So the saving was worth it.Suze my DF grows the most delicious corn on the cob but it didn’t grow this year 😕 I’ve been to the farm shop & we had lunch in the restaurant. I had lamb flatbread with salad and chips. Only ate 1/3 of bread and 1/2 chips and DF had the rest of my chips with a tuna sandwich. The portions were huge so I feel stuffed 😋 I am just going to walk around the village in the afternoon sun ☀️ and hopefully walk some of it off 😆0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Well done getting your insurance sorted! Good discount there as well.
Farm shop lunch sounds idyllic - good restraint shown on the bread and chips - your DF wouldn’t have gotten a look in if I’d been there 🤣🍟
don’t think the weather was quite right for corn this year - no sun!!Lancashire

Think you’re right about the weather Suze.Nothing planned for tomorrow apart from going to my friends house in the afternoon.Friday my niece is coming over so I am looking forward to seeing her and lots of baby cuddles 🥰 Out Friday evening at family party, then am going to put my tree up over the weekend.
Monday I have my covid jab in the morning and then will pop to shops to look for more Christmas cards/ gifts. Got DS some Yorkshire Parkin in farm shop today to go with the Yorkshire crisps & Yorkshire tea mug already bought. I need to get some Yorkshire tea bags to go with it. Also have some Christmas socks for him. The rest of his present will be cash. DF has a calendar, socks, shower gel, mint chocolate orange and yearly magazine subscription. Niece has a box of choccy biscuits for her & partner and his 2 older kids and I will get her & partner a bottle of sloe gin or cranberry and mandarin Buck’s Fizz she likes in m n s.Friend’s husband is sorted with dove shower gel and socks gift set and peanut butter chocs. Still need to get something for my friend, my sister and her family and DS’s gf. Have got 2 shopping trips with meals planned for December including one visit to Meadowhall so should be able to pick things up then.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Looking at the list for DS I do feel he needs a Yorkie bar added to it 😉
Pleased you've managed to get a reduction on your car insurance.
How old is 'baby' now? Feels like they must be at the crawling/ exploring stage rather than sitting still for cuddles? It'll soon be time to baby-proof I'm sure. They do grow up so quickly!2 -
I got a great tea towel couple years back with Yorkshire sayings on it - it’s very funny some of them cannot be real though!!! What is a ‘feetle’ - almost darent look it up 🤣
pretty much everyone I know is getting fingerless gloves off me - found some wonderful deals on the bay of eeeeeek!
enjoy the baby cuddles 🤗Lancashire

lol to the yorkie bar Time2count 🤣 I was thinking along the lines of kit cat or a-ero made in york but will probably get him the usual chocolate Santa & coins dairy milk (I ate the ones I bought last week 🤦♀️) made in Birmingham (not quite Yorkshire)
You are right about nieces baby he is growing fast. Now crawling and standing and it won’t be long before he is walking. Still wants a cuddle though. 🥰0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
